Remind me not to read AFL media again. FFS, we were 15th last year. We have basically zero finals experience...

Hawthorn are a momentum team, they can have periods where other teams pile on goals or the opposite where they pile on goals, who ever scores more while they have momentum will win this particular game.

This could be Tex's last ever game and I just want to say if that happens to be it, I hope you have a ripping game Tex and thankyou for giving us 301 amazing games, love you.
The Mods, the jars, Bunji,...all of our past champions - love them all, but for some reason Tex is my all time favourite.

Thing is we shouldn't have been 15th last year. We just missed out the year before....we should have been 7th or 8th last year....and we found us top this year. Yes it WILL be a total HUMILIATION and one of the times where you say....geez less damage would have been done if we finished the year lower - say 5th to 8th. Just like Port in 2007...I bet anything that they wish they didn't make that GF....the damage is still there.

I think it will be disappointing (very, and I am fully expecting it), but a humiliation? There is virtually no difference between 1-9th this year on their day...and in any other era getting 15 wins would get you top 4 (2017 for example, although given 1 less game back then). Anyway..I think the AFL media really just carries on a bit (and like a sucker I get rage-baited by it)

You know we're gonna cop it from the ferals. I don't care about the Vics as I don't live there.

Should have finished 15th last year and shouldn't have finished top this year. We are a 5th team, close to really contending for the premiership.

Not superstitious or anything but 10 years exactly to the day since the win against the dogs in the EF at the G.

I still have wet dreams about Tex prancing down the wing at the G and hitting Charlie lace out 💦😍

Get the job done tonight boys!
Insert '' I was there '' meme

Does he really though? he cops it in most matches and doesn’t produce in most matches.

He's been pretty good since he returned to the side after being dropped for Easter Monday. Think I saw during the week he's rated 5th best forward in the comp (Champion Data).

In his last five games he's kicked multiple goals three times (including three in the elimination final) and had 20+ touches in four of them.

I’ve been thinking about 2005 today when we finished top and lost first week, a year after our worst season to that point. We then unfortunately copped the Showdown for the semi instead of North and I’m confident every Crows fan was shitting bricks that week and already coping about what straight sets would look like after finishing 1st. Anyway, we know what happens next in that game, hopefully tonight is similar!

Fun fact: It was 10 years ago today that we beat The Western Bulldogs in an elimination final. The Walker to Cameron play was sublime. Now it’s time to do it all again. Let’s go Crows!

And some vision to get you pumped!
