Temperature has dropped off considerably in the last hour and the clouds have been rolling north from here (southern suburbs).

Even if it doesn't rain, expect it to be a dewy, greasy deck.

Can't wait for tonight as I can watch o the TV instead of a crappy internet stream, although not happy that I have to wait until 8:30pm.

I feel really confident about this one and can feel Walker will have a cracker. My bet is Gilbert will man him and it will be a great match-up. Hopefully Stiffy is mentally fit to play although if Craig was to let him play he would have been confident of Stiffy playing well and doing a job.

Really want to see us kick straight regardless of the score. Also hope Reilly plays well as he needs some confidence back.

Yeah its gonna be a great game. I think Walker will have a great one, the nervous first game is out of the way. Crows by 12 points. I hope its not any closer, had multiple heart attacks last match. Would have been shattered if they lost as it was my bday!

So the game will work like this:
- Bocky will dominate Reiwoldt.
- We will lose a lot around the stoppages, cos the sainters have a more experienced mideifled.
- But that won't matter anyway, because we will destroy the saints off half back.
- Our forward line is far better than the media thinks, so we will kick a winning score, if we can boot 3-4 goals from the midfield.
- Crows by 35 points.

I don't think we'll win by that much, but I think you're around the mark.

Their mids will probably get on top of our - not dominate us, but I can see our guys going with them for a lot of the game, but not all of it.

But it wont matter, because I'd expect our backline to smash their forwards, and once again provide the run for us - to negate our backs, their midfield will have to absolutely flog us, which I can't see happening.

Hopefully our forwards can stand up, and the mids can contribute a fair few goals from the centre/50 arc again.

Thoughts on the first half:

• Umpiring is sending me insane.
• Tippet looks good up forward today.
• Thompson shows just how much we missed him last week with all the contested ball hes getting, doing well considering he has someone hanging off of him at every opportunity.
• Johncock looks good on return too, but looks to go back and takes a while to get rid of it on occasions.
• Goodwin making a few uncharacteristic errors.
• Defence looks under lots of pressure. Missing Stevens IMO.
• Dangerfield looks a gun.
• Otten looks good, but is making me cringe a fair bit with some poor decisions. Sure it's good he's taking the game on, but needs to learn the right time to do it. This should come with experience.
• Well done to Hentschel, first goal after injury, good mark to get it too.

Unfortunately, living in Queensland means i cant be at the game, but I'm watching it on television. Don't you just love the 20 pieces on St Kilda, and barely anything said about Adelaide. Its been that way since i can remember though. Same thing last week, I wouldn't mind seeing something on the crows though geez.

Holding the ball rule seems to have been completely 180 this year. They are paying dropping the ball for the first time in about 15 years (which I agree with) but if you are tackled 0.001 of a second after touching the ball then that seems to count as prior op this year. Incredibly frustrating.
