Win we go third.

Lose we could end up sixth.

We should win. The squad is fit and healthy, we're playing good football and Melbourne aren't.

We've got a pretty ordinary record against the Dees in recent times though various NT debacles impacts that ledger.

Unless Kozi has a day out I can't see us losing. Does Max take him - when he's both forward and midfield? Or do we do a Max/Berry tag team?

Crows by 25 points

I predict a 10 goal win. We have too many weapons for their mediocre defense to handle and our back line should at least break even if not keep their mediocre forward line quiet. But at this stage, we have the % so im just focused on getting wins. A win by 20 points in my book is a tick in the box heading for finals. But we need to start demonstrating finals like intensity and I hope with finals getting closer, Nicks really pushes the need to attack the footy with that intensity. If we go into the game with kick and catch control tempo style footy, Id be pissed.

Melbourne have good players

They're playing inconsistently and there's clearly some problems there but they have some star power

They should be doing better than they are which makes them more dangerous than the other 10th-18th teams who mostly appear to be in their rightful spots

Hawthorn, Geelong, Gold Coast and bulldogs keeping us honest, would not want to drop this.
This is a another test of our improvement

Old Crows would freeze up in this situation. Whereas this season we've swept almost all before us. The stakes are going up though. Pressure building, expectation building, ramifications for wins/losses building.

What even is Melbourne this year? I reckon I’ve seen 3 of their games this year and all have been the extremes of horrible and lost and looked horrible but then played a good quarter and won.

Decades of being a Crows fan has me so terrified of games like this. No reason they should get near us in their current state but they have a few of those players that can turn a game. Gawn, Trac, Oliver, Kozi, Fritsch.

We should win comfortably. And in general this year we have been mature enough to show up when needed. Hopefully today is just another routine 6-8 goal win where we cruise after half time.

Similar sentiments to most id say.

Should win this comfortably but they've had the wood over us for a while.

Just get it done, no injuries and move onto the bigger test next week

They've had the wood over us because we were a shit bottom 4 side while they were winning flags and finishing top 4

Which is not the case any more
