They’re going ok, hopefully this is the equivalent of the Sturt Norwood game for Adelaide and kicks them into gear
Re: Sturt, I'm just a tad fearful that we're peaking too early.

That said, it feels different to last year where we scraped quite a number of low-scoring wins whereas we're a shit load more clinical at the moment.

Yep, same here. Nothing proven until finals and hopefully a GF.
The difference so far is how we react when challenged. We should’ve lost against Norwood and found a way to win. We would normally have lost to Glenelg when two goals down in the last at The Bay and won by 20.
When playing at Elizabeth massively undermanned we still won.
There’s character in that, time will tell.

We once again went into lock down mode at the end and let the opposition have multiple inside 50's.
There was at least twice I'd seen a player make good position 20 to 30m away from the kicker - in space - and was ignored for the long, down the line kick to Gawn. Stupid, idiotic play - we were lucky they couldn't make us pay - once again Worrell, Butts and Keane standing up in defence.

I thought you said those days were behind you ??

Most definitely, even if they didn't really get going in the first place. Just thought I'd throw in some humour. I think it was generally agreed that when there's a late withdrawal these days it's because the player in question has gotten on the gear, told the doctor and they've been pulled 'reasons'. Thought it would be fun to apply it to one of our guys. Not sure it hit the mark, tough audience.

I reckon if it were anyone other than the biggest church mouse in the squad you might have
