I worry about Dawson when we are being beaten. He demands the ball from everyone like he's the only one that can fix things whether he's out of position or the best choice of whatever. And then he panics and stuffs it up. Not good enough for the captain.

You raise a good point but a good coach could ease that pressure on Dawson, yet we keep him running the joint with no idea.
I'd take Hinkley any day even if he didn't win pre lims at least we'd have a few decent weekends during the minor round.

Our biggest weakness is our ruck + midfield. Need a full set of dynamic players in there. Respect Crouch for 2016/17 and for responding after being out of the team for a long period of time, but his type (one dimensional, slow, one footed) is not going to cut it in 2025. Love Dawson but not convinced he is the main man in the midfield. Ideally he would play half back or wing.
