It would be a massive injustice to be outed for that. To me it didn't appear at all that Douglas connected with Wards head. It is more likely Ward was completely unprepared for the bump which winded him and his head hit the ground as his body was limp from the impact of the bump. I certainly would be arguing my innocence if I was Douglas. But given what the AFL are like Douglas did it but Dangerfield will get suspended.

it seems we need imports to start getting this to happen, our lads never drop the ball they make too much effort end up throwing it, teams drop the ball constantly to advantage and get away with it. Adelaide are terrible at this.

Mark Evans said during the week if you don't have a choice you can go straight through to the tribunal and they will take that heavily into account if it's an accidental head knock, which it was

He could have just stood there and caused an awkward sort of collision. It's a bit hard to teach players not to be physical when that is what they have played for 15 years.
