windhager,ditto jimmy,seemed to be trying to stop dawson and crouch,really tried his ass off

boyd,shocking effort to allow the crows 3rd or 4th goal,but toiled hard after that,gets a pass

hall=you bewdy,very encouraging

wilson-played to his strengths,used his pace,good game,great chase down tackles and pressure

schoenmaker-i liked his game,very calm with ball in hand,solid

macrae-great pick up

jones-geez,low to no footy iq,had some ok moments,but early in game was 1 on 1 with dawson,hes gotta learn to even those contests,he was embaressed,we know dawson is a level above,but jones should know that and just focus 100% on halving that contest,no idea,gotta go at seasons end & i think we need to develop a footy iq test,watching jones makes me think that way

Max King wouldn't have made a single bit of difference. Young team doesn't excuse a total lack of effort from Brad Hill, poor efforts from Jack Steele and shit kicking from the rest of the team.

Higgins, Hall, Macrae are the 3 that can stand tall, Wilkie maybe. I wonder what these guys did in the off season, because they look worse than they did last year. And that's nothing to do with the debutants.

I really get this sense that there have been many assumptions made about our list and its only taken 2 years to realise that they have to probably go further down the ladder before going back up.

Prez needs to be held accountable as its been his messaging that has been changing. The idea was that we should have been playing finals under Ratten. That wasn't the case and so changes were made. He made the call to head hunt thinking that a better coach would have us more competitive.

The numbers suggest otherwise and we are now going through a huge list turnover.

The additional year just screams that they know believe this year is going to be a problem and would rather show support now than let any talk about Lyon's position. Whether or not that is a good thing I'm not convinced. He still had 2 years to run on the contract.

Yes, agree. Though I'd give Marshall a slight pass, returning from injury and having to play forward when our ball movement was under extreme pressure. I thought he should have played ruck when we were kicking against the wind and then been parked forward with it. Not sure if they tried that in the second half?

Cordy has been better for us, when played forward.
No other option but to stick with Caminiti down back for now, would even consider Keeler back there too.
They are both young & inexperienced, but at least they can provide the height & some youthful energy, might not have the tanks though to repel quick goal scoring like today.
Hopefully Barrat & Tauru come on quickly too.
When our main forwards come back, they'd wanna catch up on match fitness, fairly quickly.
Not much else to say.
Boyd & Hall fair debuts, Macrae-workman like. Windhager's attribute is to be a tagger, that's it.

Have to agree. Seems the Prez saw how bad the club would be and needed to take the pressure off RTB.

Dawson is about 15cm above Jones, just quietly.
