Because if you believe in it in the longer term its much cheaper than it was...?
That’s fine, but why buy when the price is plummeting?

The fact you’re even asking the question, has made everyone dumber for reading this thread! You are a blight on society!
BTC $US 1500maryjames you were right - BTC now 10k usd. Has lost about 50% if it’s market cap from ATH.
ETH has lost about 40% from ATH, NEO similar.
Question now is, where is the bottom?
Why is something whose price is plummeting a massive buy opportunity?
There’s A LOT more money involved now. Putting them next to each other on the same scale is going to make the earlier ones appear to be barely a little bump. Need to look at the percentage changes of the price in the context of when it happened.Unlikely IMO

Don’t misquote movies and think it makes you correct, my question is valid. Fine something might be worth more in three months, but that doesn’t necessarily make it a buying opportunity right now.
Buying low now and selling high in three months doesn’t make it a buying opportunity?
Just keeps getting dumber please stop talking
If something is worth $1 now and you buy, and in two days it’s worth 50c, it was not a good buying opportunity at $1, regardless of if it ends up at $1.50 three months later.
It was a good sell opportunity at $1 and a good buy opportunity at 50c.
Bitconnect has gone under? Wow.
I’ve seen some fairly dubious reasoning. Some say it’s due to Wall Street brokers getting their annual bonuses and manipulating the market. Another linking it to Lunar New Year with lots of Asians cashing out to purchase gifts and plane tickets, etc. And there’s also the whole South Korea FUD.Wtf is behind this? Please set a reminder next year when this thread is at page 1000 and we’re all semi retired.
Still quite shocking. Was a top 20 crypto and the 1st big name coin I’ve seen bite the dust.good the more scams that go under without taking the entire market with them the better. I kind of hope that Tether is next but I'm worried about the effect it will have
It was an obvious scam thoughStill quite shocking. Was a top 20 crypto and the 1st big name coin I’ve seen bite the dust.
Paccoin is next.
It sucks about what happened today and yesterday with prices but good luck to all you guys regardless of how you play this fall.
Just a quick question from a far too risk adverse observer - how much have you made of crypto in actual crystallised gains?
Not "If I sold out now, I'd be $2k ahead". I mean actual "I now have $2k more in Australian dollars in the bank because of this".
I tried the cash deposit the other day with the Blueshyft machines at my local newsagent. Fairly easy. Instantly credited to my coinspot account. 3% fee though..Be nice if my ******* BPay deposit would go through Coinspot you ******s
