What coins do you peeps believe will have the best shot at being adopted into real world uses over the next few years?

Basic Attention Token. Vechain. Tron. Ripple.
Verge is also starting to become a payment method for online shopping.
There are plenty that currently have a use which are the coins to look at closely. Funfair for example

Funfair is great. Concept is awesome.

Tron honestly seems like absolute garbage to me. I own it and bought into the hype. But ATM they are just buzzwords.

TRON and XVG definitely will not be around long term.
I’m not a financial advisor, but I don’t have to be to know that you shouldn’t be holding these long term.
If you are making short term trading plays then fair enough, but don’t tell people that they will be mass adopted as a long term banker as they are not even close.

But hey, it’s your money. Do as you please.

Tron is garbage, verge could be the choice privacy coin which there is a market for but more than likely goes to nothing

Monero is the best privacy coin. It’s the most heavily used currency on the dark web. I know that’s not necessarily a good thing, but there’s a reason for that.
I know you’re probably going to say, “but Wraith Protocol”.
Wraith Protocol was supposed to be the game changer for XVG, but it hasn’t.

Once again, short term or day trading it is fine, holding long term, in my opinion, no way.

I agree monero is 100% the leader currently but verge could over take it.

I don't hold either but 1 privacy coin will win long term. Verge is still a chance

Jamie Skella from HST is reported as saying the recent gay marriage referendum would have cost 8-10mil if run through their platform -- as against the 122 odd million it actually cost.

I have a really general question, and one that may have been answered before. But what real world value does investing in these companies have? You're not investing for a % share in the company, and you're not getting any dividends? Is that correct? You're just investing in the currency. My thought, and scarcely thought about at that, is that you should be investing in any company or partnering company that may float on an real exchange in the future. Until that point its entirely speculative and short term. I'm aware that at some point some of the currencies may be adopted to a broader community for exchange for goods and services, so is that why some of you are bullish about them? In regards to WTC etc what value does the currency have?

I'm not shooting it down, I've been invested for a while now, and I believe in a few applications of what I'm invested in. I just want to understand it more.

I think you're right about it being entirely speculative and wrong about it being short term. Like any investment, you should be able to look at the strengths of a whitepaper and whether the coin/currency/token is integral or superfluous to success.

The value proposition is different per coin but a few obvious break downs are as follows.

Power Ledger (POWR)
There is a finite cap on POWR tokens. These can be exchanged for Sparkz tokens on the PL platform to be traded for energy. The increased uptake of the PL platform means a higher demand on POWR tokens and price appreciation. More importantly though Power Ledger will be holding Asset Germination events around June 2018 where you can exchange Power Ledger tokens (POWR) for fractional ownership in solar assets.

Funfair (FUN)
Finite cap on coins in the FUN economy. FIAT > FUN > In-game tokens > FUN. Think of it as exchanging cash for tokens in any traditional casino. The tokens 'real world value' is whatever gamblers pay to use the platform.

Of the currency coins I find NEO and Waltonchain articulate their necessity well via their Whitepapers/comms channels.

Looking at sending some coins over to my Exodus wallet. Can anyone help out with whats the cheapest way ie BTC, ETH or LTC? I've sent BTC before and it seems to cost a fair bit. Thanks in advance.

Ethereum already is no #1 in terms of real world use, and will continue to be for years to come. If you're talking about one that will be utilised as a transactional currency to purchase goods and services, then electroneum probably has the best shot.

Monero is nowhere near the best privacy coin.

Not only is Electroneum shit, but the sheep rooting exchange it's on is up the duff.

I'd ask for a source on that but given that's completely and utterly misinformed I know you wouldn't be able to provide one.

It's purely speculative obviously, but if you watch trends and have been watching over some time, you'd have the brain capacity to realise that 250 billion dollars wouldn't have been pumped into Crypto in 2 days as it did in November without the intervention of bankers. Cap went from 500 to 750 billion.

Now why don't you tell me who you believe would have been responsible for that?

Let me give you a tip, it wasn't you and I.
