Im happy. I had a sell order .034 ETH and woke up to my WTC being sold. Bought in at .025.
I think I will further invest in VEN with my profits next week as i think the market will tank between now and then.

Honestly though, do you think you need to take the Walton tinted glasses off and take a good look at what is actually going with this coin? I think WTC is about to tank pretty hard and some serious FUD is creeping in which is a sign to dump what your holding. I'm not going anywhere near it for a while.

So one guy loads up, sells everything, comes up with 3BTC and goes all in on $VIA then this happens. Apparently it's a "coincidence".

Edit: Also, he was bragging on Twitter that he was now a millionaire and was instantly retiring, withdrew his BTC from Binance, and once that went through to his cold storage, continued to brag more about it. Then deleted his Twitter account.

It was potentially to do with API's being compromised (IE people using bots) and yep, the people who phished the accounts dumped all the Alts and bought up BTC and VIA.

Is it worth me buying fractions of Bitcoin every once in a while?

My main aim is to turn some of the alt coins I have or will get which I don't think are long-term holds into actual Bitcoins but the market seems in horrible shape right now.

Absolutely it is. If you've got the fiat to do it, buy the dips. Then if you can, learn some trading basics and swing trade with it to increase your Bitcoin holdings. Not the easiest thing to do, but it's not overly hard either.
