I just bought some MANA which is the token for Decentraland. Its a virtual reality world where they are about to auction off land. I reckon the price of MANA will go up after the auction, so just giving a headsup to people.
I bought it at about 0.10, the auction is in shortly I think.

If it takes off like minecraft for example, it could be very profittable.

I was reading that Decentraland is also looking at using the FunFair tech for a big Vegas style setup. I can’t wait to invest in FunFair when my ****ing CoinSpot account verifies in July 2225

MANA was a bit of a pain to get, I had to use Ether, then I exchanged it to MANA on Binance.com, then sent the MANA to my wallet.

What do you know about Funfair? I've looked into it a bit, it looks like an online casino that uses the token instead of real money.
Couldn't find any legal info though

If you haven’t already Sussed the white paper give it a read.

Funfair will pretty provide the technology and the token for online casinos. Should make auditing much easier, it will also be much cheaper to maintain as they won’t need giant server racks in the Bahamas, and for the players the money will appear basically instantly (and be able to be withdrawn just a easily) without the exorbitant fees that online gambling currently has.

There isn’t really anyone else doing what they’re doing, they’ve got tonnes of gaming experience onboard, and the online gambling market is massive. Was trading under 4 cents a few days ago and is up over 5 now. Definitely worth looking into.

CoinGecko saying about 0.11 AUD. I just read that all MANA used to purchase property will be burned, so if it takes off definitely could see nice profits.

same thinking here. I know early bitcoin buyers sat on their investment for 8 years before pay day came around. Id like to take that chance on XRP and a few other low price alt coins and hope i can give myself a nice mid-life crisis present 8 years from now :) Long-term, high reward, low risk is my plan. Not savy enough to know the ins and outs of margin trading, and all the other market innuendo that others are clued up on.

Got into IOTA, OMG and FUN with fairly small amounts today. Hopefully they stay stagnant for now as I'd like to get some more over the coming days. Medium-long term hodl.
 
Got 10k to play with and was going to buy XRP @ 0.37...peaked at around 0.74 today. It's taking forever to verify on any exchange and even asked my brother who is verified on multiple exchanges to buy me some stock... he said no. Missed out on some decent cash...

Well the one big thing all XRP holders are hoping for is the big banks across Europe and the US to adopt Ripple and it become the universal crypto. In that case trillions of $$ of transactions take place over the course of a year. If by some miracle Asia adopted Ripple that would be amazing but so far no news linking them to XRP.

Unless im mistaken, approximately 50% of XRP is also being locked away so as to not flood the market and diminish its value?

Correct. 55 billion locked away in escrow to be released a billion a month for 55 months with whatever doesn’t sell back into escrow. That starts in June 2018 I believe (don’t quote me).

And there’s been a bit of news. Japanese and korean banks start full on trials this Friday until January 31st 2018. Big rumour for a while is that State Bank of India (500+ Million customers) will be announced as being onboard soon too.

And, the CEO of SBI holdings (big Japanese financial group) tweeted this today


So they’re definitely gunning for Asia and there’s more than a pulse there too.

My brother basically transferred me $5,000 and said to put his money somewhere for him.
