Maaaaaaan, I've been begging to buy LUNA at these prices again. If you think it's pumping or you're late, well....
It has peaked and dipped the last couple of days though, and I just haven't done enough research on it nor do I have any further funds to invest until I start seeing profits from the coins I already have.

Ok ok Shupe, I've got on board with Luna. The project does look pretty cool and a few of you in here seem to love it, so I'm willing to give it a go!

I've started out using coinbase but finding I cant buy too many different coins, LUNA for an example, also appears Coinbase will charge me quite high to transfer to wallet. What other good options are there for more coin variety and better wallet transfer transactions?

After 12 minutes?
I didn't put a huge amount into it. It takes a 2 minute Google search to actually see what the project is, and another two minute search to look at trend history for this year. Even a return to its ATH from Feb is 3x from here, I'll take that.

You seem to have a pretty negative view on crypto, so why are you in this thread?

Coinbase take quite a while to list coins, even Polkadot hasn't made it on there yet (which seems insane to me). They're reviewing their process for listing coins atm, so hopefully there are more soon.

I have found Crypto.com good. Great security and from the research I've done, the best crypto Visa card. They don't list anything too far outside of the top 100, but the majority within the top 100 are there.

It's a great sample of human and market psychology this thread. Crypto is also whether you like it or not these days is relevant to things more broadly. Just because you aren't going to buy something yourself doesn't mean it's not worth reading at least a little bit about, pretty silly question tbh.

Isn't that the fun of crypto? Making all the spur of the moment irrational decisions that you shouldn't make on the stock market because you can chuck a pineapple on some total shitcoin you've never heard of?
I am also not investing what I cannot afford. To me, anything I make from crypto is an absolute bonus.

That's fair enough, well you have my answer above for why I invested after minimal research. I also trust people more experienced than me with their views on the crypto space, and Luna has been brought up a number of times in here recently and on social media.

The majority of my money is in the cryptos I have done a tonne of research on and believe very strongly in, ETH, ADA, DOT and BTC. Anything else I invest into is to eventually put back into those cryptos, which I see as long term holds.

I suggest you do your research on it and the way the whole Terra ecosystems link together. Their UST stable coin alone nets 20% APY. Minting the UST stable coin burns LUNA (making it deflationary).

Then there's the Mirror and Anchor protocols.

I think it was announced last week that Netflix in Korea is now accepting the Korean-based stablecoin version for payment. This is a top 10 MC in waiting.

Do we reckon MATIC is going to get much higher than it's been in the past 24 hours? High of about $3.15. That would net me about a 30% profit from my initial buy price but not sure it has the ability to get a whole lot higher.

Also what is a strong indicator of how high a certain coin may rise? If any at all?

If a crypto can maintain a few daily closes above the 20 week SMA (simple moving average), that is historically a good indicator that it's bullish. Dropping below for a couple of days is ok, as long as it then closes above it for a week or two afterwards. As you can see currently, we are about 7-8k below it and have been since May 12.

An example is with BTC below (green indicates above the 20 week SMA, red below):

MATIC is still looking quite bullish, despite the crash from a week ago:
