I went hard on it last night and down 20%. Eeek. Glad to see someone bullish on it.

I just sent some verge from my QT 2.1 wallet to Binance.

I did a test transaction of 46 XVG and that worked no sweat, So I did my remaining 25k, but it never arrived. I clicked “check” on the 46 transaction in Binance and that took me to http://verge-blockchain.info and allowed me to drill down into the movement of my XVG.

Depsite having very clearly sent the 25k transaction to the same address as the 46 unit one (Saved all photographs for proof) in the blockchain info it has the receiving address for the 25K as one that is COMPLETELY different from the one I inputted.

How could this possibly happen? Is it he verge blockchain that’s ****** me, or have Binance allocated it to the wrong address somehow? It makes no sense, and I’ve got this really bad feeling that neither verge nor Binance will want anything to do with fixing it.

Mate that's terrible, just fcked. I really hope this works out for you.
 
No one can get into the crypto currency until next year apparently..the backlog is huge.

Fingers crossed for you mate... is Verge known to be slow at exchanging/moving? Could very well show up at any time. I’ve had a couple of nervous moments moving coins only to have it land ‘hours later’...

Well the test transaction cleared instantly.

But I’ve clicked into it the blockchain and I can clearly see my large transaction has gone to completely different wallet/address. I’ve edited the pictures so not to reveal full information but have a look.

First picture is from my Verge wallet. Showing that I’ve sent 25k to my address.

Second picture shows that those 25k have been received, by a completely different address unrelated to anything I’ve typed. Notice that the address the 25k were suppose to be going to is the same as the test transaction of 46.

Verge support completely ignoring me on Twitter, Facebook, reddit and email too.

Coinspot and others are backlogged. Millions of people are on a waiting list of at least 2 weeks. Coinspot are blaming the banks. I’ve got 10 mates of mine who haven’t been vertified until next year the exchanges are saying.

Ah yes that. Full on. I messed up my Bittrex verification meaning they have to do it manually, I've been waiting a quite a while now.... TG for Binance.

Sorry an oversight on my behalf reading your post... thats what i get for trying to do two things at once!
Anyways...can see clearly why you're concerned.
Not sure who the onus is on here. I would probably say Verge as they have directed it to the wrong address. I can see you're trying to contact them though.
Otherwise it could be some sort of hack! heck!!!

Please keep us posted on any progress or lack there of. Maybe try looking through some forums for similar circumstances. I would try and help you but I'm at work!

Hey woota tell me about cryptopia? I signed up but haven’t verified or anything yet. With coinspot having deposit issues with aud I’m looking for an exchange with altcoin options better than at least btcmarkets, with aud deposit/buying options. I see cryptopia has a nz dollar deposit option once verified, any Aussie dollar deposits capable there?

I’ve tried r/Binance r/CryptoCurrency and r/vergecurrency as well. For some reason the verge sub won’t even let me post a new topic, and no one has responded to the ones I’ve posted in other subs.

It’s doing my ****ing head in. They’re obviously just ignoring me, hoping the problem goes away.
 
Finally managed to get onto some support. They seem to think that the transaction failed, and in fact just went to a cold storage wallet for failed transactions.

They’re confident the situation can rectified, so I can unclench my anus and relax slightly.

Missed the chance to throw more on the ripple boat though! Ah well :)

Just keep persevering mate. Whirlpool, reddit, twitter and Facebook. You won't be the only one experiencing problems with Verge and i imagine that chasing these errors up takes time cos Verge probably have people trying to scam money off them.

Does Verge have any other means of contacting them on their website?

Don't stress yet mate. It takes a while for them to track your stuff and they probably get heaps of requests. Make sure to keep all the documentation though.

I had a transaction lost once, I screwed up the destination address. Figured they were done for and wrote it off. I was really surprised when Coinspot and Bittrex still tracked the units and recovered them for me. The currency crashed by the time I got them back but at least I got something lol
 
I bought ETN last week, so very happy. I use Cryptopia a fair bit, it's decent.

XVG down 23%, buying a big block today at that price, I don't think $1.00 is too far away for it tbh.
