Personally Im going to wait for some bargains after xmas. I sold all my BTC for BCC then dumped the lot yesterday just after BCC surged to 5.5k
Nice move. Sold my XRP this morning for FIAT. Managed to time it just short of the top. The price of XRP was just too good while everything else was dipping. Will hold IOTA and BTC. Everything is bleeding. Another couple of days of this will be perfect. One more day like this I'll start buying back in, then I'll continue to buy in until the recovery. I expect that to happen any time between Boxing day and New Year. Either way I'll be buying every day while prices are this low.

I'll be accumulating Litecoin, Ripple, Monero, XVG, ETN and whatever McCafee pulls out of his hat.

no way am i getting off the XRP train. Got in at 37c and have since transferred my XRP on to my USB ledger wallet where it will stay for several weeks.

It's the only coin that held firm during the drop. Makes sense to use its inflated price to buy depreciated BTC with the hope that BTC rises (almost certain) and perhaps xrp dips a bit when the vast majority of alts that were down, come back.

In my mind, anyways!! Haha.

good point. Just looking at the 1h% change and almost all alt coins are dropping 3-7% again. The UK has recently woken up to the news and the US is not far behind. Might be a lot of people shitting bricks not wanting to lose money just before Xmas. Could take another 24 hours before things settle down.

Multi timezone flucs for sure. Feels to me like the flucs coming from the States are strongest by far. Followed by Asia.

My mindset is don't sell, but re-distribute if necessary.

When I bought xrp a few weeks ago it tripled within a few days.

Not talking huge figures but happy to risk it forwards sort of thing.

Having said that, my "trading" has been varied at best.

You should get onto Discord with some of us mate, there's a couple of good groups on there.

Similar day to Wednesday really.

It absolutely exploded yesterday.

Professional day traders must be making a ****ing fortune atm.

Whats all the fuss about? Unless you gambled on a lot of shit coins or put all of your eggs in 1 basket...

I’m holding about 12 alt coins atm, portfolio is sitting at about 25% higher than this time last week, that’s after it was slashed in today’s bloodbath.

I’ll take that any week, that’s doubling your money every month.

Same, and and over 50% of my money is in index funds that take the hits very well.

Having said that, it's undeniable there are forces outside our control massaging the crypto markets. I'm fine with it. Adapt or die.

But c'mon. It's quite the ride. Why play it down.

PS give me a fckn tip Pykie you've been smashing it.

From my end:

ARDR
SONM

Pretty much no new money coming atm with the account lockouts. Account verification has slowed to a halt. Must have an impact on the market

For those of you thinking of selling into this dip don't. This happens regularly in crypto and is great at shaking out loose hands. If you've got faith over the next 6 months in whatever you've purchased then don't let today affect your decision making.

As I've said repeatedly for the last 3 years on this forum BTC is horrible and will be replaced by vastly superior (and legal) coins, namely XRP, ETH and I suspect something else which has yet to be released but will be a crypto 3.0.

I guess this is what happens when people leave there Christmas shopping until the last minute

Tonight im adding DASH, Monero, Zcash to my ledger wallet. In it for the long haul now. Some of the other alt coins ill continue to speculate with as soon as this settles.

How do I get set up on doing this? I understand there is a backlog but wouldn't mind setting up in preparation for the new year.

Can anyone recommend a good guide. What's a good wallet and what site lets you buy and trade?

Also do you have to pay tax on your earnings?

So last night when the dip bottomed, my trades were. fun fair and library coin at the bottom, when they peaked again I rolled that into bitcoin cash at 3.65k I held my cardano the whole time this last two weeks it seems pretty resilient, they're hodlers them lot. If you are OCD enough and do enough research, you will learn what currency is roughly worth what and with a comission of .25% you can make some pretty bloody nice pocket money on Bittrex, even coinspot if you time your dips. A nice fellow on here put me on to bittrex.
