ADA continues on its merry way.

what do you think a realistic price is in say 2-4 years
We're nearing the end of the cycle, I reckon it will push up to and probably past $10 by the end of the bull run, then drop down to $1.50-$2. Next cycle it could push up towards $25 or more is my guess. But there is no tecnhincal analysis guiding those numbers. So don't take my word for it haha.

Cardano is for real.

I was expecting between $3-5USD this cycle. I still predict around that, but I don't think I will take profits until $4+. More of a wait and see approach.

That said, I'm planning on taking profit slowly. There seems to be an alt that has a face melting run at the end of a bull cycle, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's ADA. $7-8 possible.

If the smart contract launch goes off without a hitch, which with Charles Hoskinson at the helm I have every reason to trust it will, anywhere from 7-10USD is achievable I think. It’s already blasted past it’s previous ATH without the massive volume yet, once that comes, it’s moon time. Charles is a very good marketer, launching smart contracts during a bull run is not a coincidence. Going to be some serious action over the next 6-8 weeks.

Why hasn’t it been available there before?
Apparently Japan are very strict on what currencies are allowed to be traded there, and there aren't many at all available. From a quick search I can't find a recent and definitive list of those that are legally tradeable, but it appears that Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Stellar, are ok.

ADA joins them tomorrow.

XRP on that list as well I believe.

Yep, Ripple making some big plays in Japan recently.
I'm a relative crypto newby and branched away from Coinspot. Finally got myself some Albt. Went up 10c last night, so missed that, but got myself a nice bag to start. Wish Coinspot would list that and VXV. Such a user friendly site, compared to Kucoin.

Any objective view would have to have ADA as overvalued at almost $3 USD. It could go higher, but for how long?

I see it as a warning signal, like DOGE at $0.70.

I'm waiting for the smart contracts and thinking that could be a good time to sell, or at least take profits. Thing with ADA is apparently (I cant remember where I saw it now) about 70-80% of it is staked, so it's being held. But if I got in around 10c, I'd be selling the shit out of it right now.

You nearly had me until you compared ADA with DOGE. Objective view? This is crypto, no one has a truly objective view.

You know smart contracts are coming to doge yeah?
I did see that, but their tech would be a long way behind Cardano. There hasn’t been any development on it for years. Surely people aren’t expecting DOGE to become a major smart contract player anytime soon?

I'm using the same criteria to judge both as overvalued at their respective peaks. DOGE has value too, just not $0.70 US.

Dunno, but you are wrong about development. Elon and Vitalik have been working with them.

I’m guessing plenty thought ADA was overvalued at its previous ATH as well? I won’t be buying at these prices as I’ve loaded up already, but this bull run has a long way to go and anything is possible in crypto, especially when in price discovery mode.

Does anyone watch The Modern Investor on YouTube?
The bloke thinks ADA will hit $10.
He seems very bullish on everything and doesn't mention possible pullbacks on anything ever haha

I like his channel because he breaks down articles quite well. But yeah very skeptical of his predictions etc.
