well if we are swapping stories about mistakes in hindsight, i FOMO'd into Centra over a week ago when it had made good gains. Bought in around $3 mark and woke up next day to see it had dropped more than 30%. Started doing more research and discovered that Centra have a class action lawsuit against them and if i knew that was the case i never would have touched them. The coin kept hovering around the $1.90 mark and when it finally climbed to around $2.60 i cut my losses and sold off. Now its bloody jumped up to near $4 so i feel like i got burnt on both ends.

Feels like the overall marketcap has come to halt the last 24 hours. Everything except TRON looks to have plateaued

Hey guys

I just got put onto the thread. Thanks toxic

I am keen to dabble but have no idea really about how to do it and what i need to do. I might pop in later and ask a few questions later of that's ok.

Only looking at about $300 worth as a tester

Might come in and have a look over a beer tonight.

No idea, beers and investing in a speculative market.... what could possibly go wrong :D

Just be careful with all the alt madness.

In the past there has been a flood of money back into Bitcoin when it goes on a rally, with many of the alts with price built purely on hype dropping like lead balloons. A lot of the coins that are pumping are penny stock coins.

There likely will be a large correction in the coming months, because there is so much new money coming in whales will start to sell their stakes, many new holders will panic and sell out with the people who have been here a while will accumulate at low prices.

One thing to be wary of with regards to Ripple and its monumental price run up,

-Ripple gets listed on Coinbase, may cause drop in price. Crypto market has long shown that selling the news is very common with good strong announcements often met with a price drop due to the accumulation that occurs before the official news. This has been rumoured for over a month now as happening and the price rise has met that speculation, there may be profit taking. Its the out of the blue news that causes price jumps.
-Ripple doesn't get listed, this could be huge and really hurt the price.

might buy into STELLAR instead. I reckon it's prime for an upswing.
Be careful mate...if you can maybe put a limit buy order of say $0.60 (as an example) so you don't go fomo and stat buying at a peak price due to impatience.
I say this as I think Stellars a bit precarious at present. Would hate to see you buy in whilst it's still relatively high only to watch your value plummet. When a coin is still hovering around its all time high you just need to be a bit more vigilant/patient before pulling the trigger.
I'm not in Stellar so I'm only taking my thought process on its face value.

It's had a massive week that's for sure and could be due a retrace in the short term. Long term I'm hard pressed to find a stronger project.

Fair enough...I haven't had a close look at it for weeks so admittedly not really up to speed with where its at. I'm only having a glance at cryptocurrency market for what i'm seeing...and I wouldnt touch it right now based on that alone.

What would be a good buy at the moment?

Not looking for financial advice. I’m only a small dabbler

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Have a look at DGB and BAT...
Last night I bought some REQ...worth a look.
By all means take advice from others but make sure you do your due diligence and research what you invest in.

My Crypto travels over the last 24 hours. Well, due to a lack of Bank deposit I stayed up really LATE last night, I Flogged off my Ripple at 4.75 AUD$ and split it between BAT, FUN and DIGIBYTE. They all delivered overnight, what a mental week and a half and its only the 5th of Jan.
