A quick reminder for those purchasing a Ledger Nano S to purchase directly from the company rather through a third party.

A guy had US$34k stolen after purchasing his Ledger Nano S through a third party. Don't risk it.
Thats a bit scary. I purchased mine off Ebay. Is there a way to format/reset a Ledger Nano S? That would allow me to temporarily put everything from my Ledger on to an exchange, wipe the keys and start fresh, then transfer back again?

Mine is from Ebay, it’s fine.

As long as you set it up for the first time with your 24 words. This process ensures that the Ledger is wiped and starting new.

Nice one, I'm still eyeing off an entry point. I was shattered I didn't grab a bag of it Saturday night; price looks to be stablising now so might be a good point to ladder in. I like QTUM as one of my LT HODLs
I hear ya...by the looks of it it could be the 'get' of the day...hence why I'm in.
I still have seem reserve ETH...so if it keeps going down I will grab some more...helps that ETH keeps going up!
30% differential between ETH and QTM today...in ETH's favour.

So much red today. I won't be bragging about making 3 times my work pay today! Market cap down 50b so i guess it was on the cards after last week being green.

I bought my first crypto on Dec 8th, one month ago today. Total capital one month later is up x 3. Compared to others, I'm dealing with modest amounts. But still really pleased. Time to consolidate strategy and make the most of this boom.

Included in this ride have been many mistakes!

I've had quite a bit of discussion around ETH/BTC/XRP in this thread and have been following and trading crpyto for the last 3-4 years. Personally I see ETH and Ripple (XRP) as the two major players over the next 2-3 years with possibly SIA as well.

Would I buy more ETH? Not at this price, I bought it between $7-$46 and it's due for a correction at some stage.
Would I buy more XRP? If it's a long term play sure, it's got enormous potential.
Would I buy BTC? No, it's horribly outdated and only serves as a currency pair for getting money in/out of other cryptos. Once ETH or XRP currency pairs are added BTC will no longer have a purpose.
Would I buy SIA? Yep, I think it's still undervalued.

All views are my own obviously.
