Anyone else of verge? Exploding!

Already 6x my money.

Yep, I've got 30,000 blocks in both Verge and Tron that have both done well over the weekend. Verge is up 140% since I bought Friday afternoon, Tron us up around 85% since Friday.

I'm going to grab more Verge and Tron tomorrow morning.

I like making money while I sleep.

Eyeing off Stellar, Komodo and Stratis tomorrow as well.

All of my buys are long term holds, I'm not trading.

I'm looking at a $2k investment in Waves as well on Monday, it's "potentially" a major rival to Ethereum and you can see the price disparity at the moment, $13.55USD vs $706USD

I know of a few 'experts' who are very hot on Waves.

I also recommend the cointracker app highly.

I enter each trade, quantity and price as I get it.

Can be set to AUD, great to track your portfolio if you have a diverse portfolio of different coins and multiple buys of the same coins at different prices.

It's conservative as its drawing real prices, not buy prices you might be viewing from your markets.

I brought verge months ago, forgot all about it and just sat on it. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying more of it back then. But that's hindsight for you.

Incidentally, what wallet do you recommend for verge? I know they have an official wallet but I heard it was very buggy/doesn't really work.

I'm using electrum. Seems ok. Spewing I can't send back to coinspot to sell for aud when I want. Need to send to Bittrex or something

The thing that does my head in about cryptocurrency is all the "must have" coins that are emerging now. You can't have a big position on them all unless you're already rich. The dilemma is deciding whether to spread yourself thin over many different coins while they're still cheap, to make sure you don't miss out if one of them goes big, or just focus on a few coins and invest big into them...that's the question.

I've gone big on a few coins and have a small position on a bunch of others.

yeah that's why I've been telling people that coinspot is garbage. LOL. Maybe people will start listening now.

It's a good exchange for how simple it is but not being to store it elsewhere and sell it later is stupid

That's what I've been trying to explain to others on here. Coinspot is not a proper trading platform where you can set buy and sell orders, stop losses etc. It's a marketplace designed for simpletons who are intimidated by proper exchanges like bittrex. And it charges stupid fees. Just a waste of money.

Anyway, there are other better exchanges on the horizon.

Cobinhood is a decentralized, zero-fee exchange that has a product in beta phase atm.

ethbit.co.uk is a foreign exchange that is under maintenance right now to accept aussie users.

I'm confused. You can send money in and out of Coinspot, yeah?

Edit: Just Bitcoin I see. Damn, that really sucks. I will be moving onto Bittrex once it's open again.

I recommend this too..great tool to use.

Whats everyones go to exchange for the smaller less popular cryptos?

I've used binance, poloniex, liqui, coinspot for lesser known altcoins. Cryptopia for ETN (that's the only exchange that ETN is currently listed on).

If you set up accounts with bittrex, poloniex, and binance then you should be covered for all the coins you'd ever want.

Also good to track totals when you have coins spread iver multiple exchanges and in a wallet

BTC trades AUD against multiple coins.

$8k per day AUD withdrawal to fiat with no fee for withdrawal.

It’s not bad for getting cash in and out.

I think general growth across the whole
platform will happen as well, over the next 2 years.

For sub $0.10 coins I think volume is more important, as I believe if one of these hit gold, they are going to subsidize the rest of your portfolio.

I generally try to get 30,000 blocks of these low value alt coins. If any of them hit $16, that’s $500k which could be reinvested in the more stable longer term coins BTC, ETH, LTC etc

I don’t have any personal predictions sorry...but I’m seeing anything from $5 - $100 from more knowledgeable people.

I've seen similar predictions about electroneum, which is currently 6cents US. A few of the "experts" like Suppoman (a crypto YouTuber) are saying it will never reach 50 cents, while others are predicting $35 at some point in 2018.

I'm not that concerned with the dollar value of electroneum, as I think it's the only crypto coin right now that has the potential to gain mass adoption as a currency.
