Long game always wins
Damn it feels good knowing that the research has paid off, I have never wavered in confidence that this market wasn't close to done yet. Too many technical indicators were clear that this was a short term dip to allow the institutions to accumulate; on-chain data continually backed this up as well. The most bullish thing is that the retail volume hasn't hit the market in a big way yet (still hovering around the $100M mark for daily volume, this was doubled back in April/May).

Exactly I knew 59k or what ever it was few months back wasn’t top at all. Well it never really tops.. I know where it’s going.

I’m waiting for the day when they announce bitcoin is officially clean energy.

Crypto life is good. I’ve never seen so much money in 100 lives. Lol 😂
I bought a fair amount of BTC at the start of the pandemic @ ~6K (I just knew the government would be spending/printing out the wazoo inflating our savings away). It was either property or BTC, I made the right choice :) :)

That's why you don't make inane statements like life is good. Because until you sell it for a profit, life is exactly the same.
I really don’t think my throwaway comment deserved this type of analysis. People are allowed to be excited at this point!

Bullshit on this statement, you purchased at the verge of the crash and was in this thread daily mentioning that you have put a large sum in ETH and lost half of it while seeking peoples validations and advice on what to do.

I sure did purchase a week before the major crash. Took a bit of a dent to the confident there, but decided then and there I needed to buckle down on the research and that’s where my confidence grew and I gradually bought a bit more during each subsequent dip. Have purchased less than 5% of my current portfolio since the last major dip in July.

Does anyone know if the new bitcoin ETF that launched this week holds any Bitcoin at all in the $1.1b net other assets/cash line item? 71% of a fund being lumped as 'net/other assets/cash' seems a bit odd by ETF standards.

Nope. Futures ETF so it's all paper and not backed by BTC at all. Still, it's a step in the right direction. The Valkyrie spot ETF is what will truly be a gamechanger.

The irony being that the SEC says it's been stalling on a BTC ETF for a long time to protect investors, yet the very first one the approve is a futures one...

I think we can all understand by that move that the SEC has no interest in protecting the little guy whatsoever.

Anyone ever get the feeling that you've got a coin on some random exchange or wallet that you've forgotten about? I've had that feeling for a few weeks.
Wait till you see the millions of dollars you get stacked in your DeFi wallets from all those dusting attacks in your Metamask or TrustWallet lol. First time I saw it I though I was rich from a coin I'd forgotten about so stupidly tried to sell. Thankfully I realised my error and revoked the permissions via Beefy Finance pretty quickly so I didn't get my shit stolen.

Due to all those dusting attacks my MetaMask reckons I've got an 11 figure sum in there lmao.

Ha yeah I have a couple of them too. First time I saw it I did a double take and quickly googled the coin (VERA I think was one of them) and saw it was a scam.

I started a crypto wallet yesterday.

Portfolio is 57% BTC, 31% ETH, 2% DOGE, 10% OTHER.

I've bought some bundles, if I had more to throw around I'd buy bundles, stick 90% to BTC and ETH, hold those for 5-10 years, maybe sell off X amount of others if they take off.

Do I know what I'm doing? No, but I'm on team Bitcoin/Ethereum in the long run, and Cardano might be featuring in that conversation.

Ahhhh, did anyone just see the market going nuts a few minutes ago? ADA was at about 2.30, then flash crashed down to 1.80, and is now back at 2.27 within about a 2 minute period. ETH went from 4350ish to 4100, and now is back close to 4300, again all within a couple of minutes.
