fu** it... Bought back Luna at a 17% discount (crosses fingers there's not more carnage when the US wakes up). Though I think from here most people surely just have to hold.
The US markets are the ones to initially trigger the first crash today; before the absolute giga nuke a few hours later. 300B is already back in the market after the low only a couple of hours ago haha

ETH had a clean bounce of its bull market support band sitting at about 3600. Unlike BTC, it hasn't tested it since the last crash in late September. There was then a week of chop and then the run to new ATHs.

If things really go down hard, I am actually mildly excited. I know that might sound counterintuitive but I do have more dry powder I was planning on spending on crypto but held off. So I find myself in the weird position of not really minding which way it goes.

"If things go down really hard".. What do you call a 40% dump from the peak then?

My portfolio would be down 7 figures over the past 2 days. Along with my Solana, I bought a lot of Btc and Atom earlier. Pretty confident the bottom is in.

I am talking about a 2018 event or even half that. I haven't spent as hard as you. I still have 3/4 of my allocated crypto budget unspent. Was planning to spend it this coming week. Having said that I have averaged down some of the coins that have gone negative on me. Overall I am still up. I am just not as up as I was.

That's harsh that it's down 7 figures, but Im gonna go and presume you're also heavily in profit if you're that highly invested.

Fair enough. I don't think we'll see a 2018-type event now. Remember that was after a huge blow-off top and sentiment was extremely high and frothy. We hadn't seen any blow-off top here yet. The amount of volume on that candle at 5:25pm EST and the bounce afterward gave me confidence to go long on Btc and Atom.

If you're looking to buy, look for coins showing relative strength both before and after the nuke (Sol, Mana, Sand and Atom are 4 that spring to mind)

Of course. It's a miserable feeling But Im still up overall and looking to buy.
I’m annoyed at myself that I wasn’t more aggressive with taking profits, but it’s a lesson learnt for next time. I did buy a lot when the market was half of what it is now in July, so at least I didn’t miss out on these discounts completely. All of my buys from that period are still well in profit, it’s some of the buys when the market was up that are hurting my portfolio (oh and from when I bought the top in May haha).

Silver lining for me is that even after the giga nuke today, I’m in profit. Hard to ever be too angry when you’re still in profit, despite losing 20k in gains since mid November.

The US eastern seaboard starts to wake up in an hour or two.
Will be interesting to see if they continue the dump, or the price starts to shore up with some sales.
I'm keen to buy some more LRC as it is currently around $1.90, but gee i am worried about what way the action will go this time, as it is looking far more like a crash than a dip.

They triggered the first flash crash at about 5am this morning, so hopefully that’s it for them… crash/dip, same thing haha. I’m waiting for BTC to reclaim 50k on the daily (bull market support band) to put anymore into the market.

I'm blaming Charles Leclerc for the bloodbath. The market started to dip just as he hit the wall

Luna has been incredible. Bitcoin does it's biggest daily dump since May... and it must be said it's a pretty huge dump, yet Luna finds a new ATH.

I remember buying 26 Luna at $5 back around May or June and then I tried to be clever and sell to rebuy at a lower price. Luna then took off and was a far away from my sell. It hurt then and it still hurts, but I love seeing it fly.

Yeah, it's dragging me out of the mud. Bought some more at 80 odd yesterday, happy with a quick profit.
