I don't think shitcoins and holding go hand in hand, when I talk about a long term buy and hold strategy I'd suggest you're looking mainly at the big two; BTC and ETH. Maybe some of the rest of the Top-10 market cap.
 
One interesting area I'll be looking at is how these large crypto organisations withstand the bear market. Crypto.com went nuts with their advertising, and they've now just effectively killed off their value proposition for their flagship product (their visa card cashback) because it wasn't sustainable... let's see if any now go under water.

Doesn't matter at all what he thinks of crypto, or anything at all really. He's an admin for a website devoted to a dinky little game that's played by one little country. He's not Elon Musk.

Rally coming soon IMO. Sentiment on CT is way too bearish. Not saying we will break ATHs this year, but a rally to the mid-40k level in the next few months wouldn't surprise me. Then the downtrend probably to continue til the end of the year. Thinking that somewhere between $25 - $30k will be the nut bottom (later this year).

Right now, no. But I don't really have any spare $$$ to make it worthwhile. But, if it did go down to the low 20ks I would be really tempted to refinance and go all-in on Bitcoin then spend a couple of years on a beach in Thailand waiting for the next ATH.

But I'm too much of a pussy to do something irresponsible like that.

I hope it does drop to the low twenties. I'll quickly sink $2000 into it.
 
Funny that Ben Cowen has had his own theory blow up. As much as he's as honest and genuine as any of the Youtubers, he would have made a lot of $$$ in the last year selling his product when many in that time would be in loss territory.
 
I think that if you can stay the course, and what you have invested is not affecting your financial situation at all, you can expect to see hefty returns in ten years time. As Kurt Cobain once sang, "I'll just sit and grin, the money will roll right in!"
