Mainstream acceptance by non-crypto space participants and their money.

A great deal of those people don't need or care about alts.
In 2017, many buyers treated their altcoin buys the same as share investing - they believed their alts had value.
In 2025, very few people believe their altcoin has value. They just want to sell to a bigger fool.

We're getting smarter!

Is there a scenario where BTC decouples from the rest of crypto and the BTC dominance then becomes less relevant to the crypto market?
I think we've been there since the spot ETFs went live and performed well from the outset tbh. Alts still performed last year without needing BTC dominance to fall off a cliff.

Not a bad call at all.
It's amazing how well simple technical strategies work. Buying bitcoin on every 50WMA touch and selling on a loss of the 50WMA would make someone a tonne of money.

I use sentiment for confluence, including fighting against my own feelings. If the vast majority are bearish at support, support will probably hold. The herd is usually wrong.

Some people call technical analysis bullshit while I prefer to think of news as bullshit. Charts show the truth.

If anyone went through the Bahamas process to get your assets back from FTX it can be a bit of a head **** to work out how to get your funds off there.

Luckily I did my head in so you don't have to do yours in.

The first part of the process is you'll need to whitelist a crypto wallet address on Bitgo (I used a Swyftx one). If you're having trouble with that as it's the most painful thing to work out shoot me a PM and I'll talk you through it.

Once you've done that you'll need to convert your USD to USDC. Bitgo only uses ETH platform so converting to other cryptos probably won't work when it comes to moving off Bitgo.

When you do convert anything on Bitgo it won't happen in quick time like on exchanges. So be prepared for things to happen in a more drawn out time period.

I ran a test transaction and once sent to the swyftx wallet it didn't take long for it to appear in there.

And it has zero intrinsic value.
Bitcoin has intrinsic monetary value. It's reasonable to treat it the same as other mined assets.
Staggering how stupid humanity is.
Person A buys Bitcoin at $16k
Person B thinks person A is stupid for buying Bitcoin at $16k
Person A sells Bitcoin at $100k
Person B calls person A staggeringly stupid
