Good news for the AFL this morning with them on the verge of announcing a 35 million 5 year major sponsorship of the competition to replace Coca Cola from the season 2002.
Not only is the money good news for the comp, but it will mean we wont have to drink that Tooheys rubbish at games, unlike at some major race meetings now.
This sponsorship will help secure our code but will it help the likes of Nth Melbourne survive in its own right? Be interesting to see how this money as well as the broadcasting money is allocated.
