First 5 minutes with Rosie & Leon are good.

I think what's annoying me a bit is the lack of the other characters as solid contributors to the episodes; where is Jeff, The Funkhaus, Lewis etc?

Chat with the red polo shirt was lulzy too - 'I want to make it smaller... Close your hands together.'
ahh another seinfeld play - ramone, the pool guy. pretty similar story to that.
quite a lot of recycled stuff within the show. which is fine, as long as it's relevant and (obviously) done well.

and another one from last nights episode - the stuff with the lesbians - and women knowing how to satisfy women.... exactly the same as the elaine stuff, and the convo's when she went as a beard (I believe that's what it's called, as indeed was the episode) with the gay guy. remember the convo's about the equipment? very, very funny stuff.
the references in last nights episode were ok but the continued analogy with baseball in the seinfeld ep was legendary.

Always recycled stuff.
I was getting the whole Bette Midler baseball feel last episode

I think Larry was too chicken s**t to act in the Seinfeld days.. he did these tiny cameos from time to time and built his courage up.. now he wants to live out what he wrote

I thought Rosie choked a couple of times, normally you can't tell it's unscripted due to the talent, but there were a few flat moments from her mid conversation

And talk about Larry dating women out of his league.. Rosie and her?.. not if she had a penis on her chin

I always thought that one of the premises of the show was that this is how Larry wanted seinfield to be, hence why he recycled some of the stories.

Anyway it's his and he can do what the **** he wants with it.

Seinfeld is ok but larry kicks the s**t out of him. He is so far ahead it's not funny.

You could see seinfeld deteriorate when larry left the show and curb is much much much better than seinfeld.

Have to admit, I was expecting the newest episode to suck after reading this thread, but I quite enjoyed it.

It's just one person really having a hissy fit really.

I enjoyed the episode and i thought was way better than last weeks. Scoring viagra in the park..and the bow. Classic Larry moments.

Larry could never have had a hit as monstrous as Seinfeld without channeling his darkness through Jerry's genial light, the viewing public just wouldn't have swallowed it from an old bald jew.. Seinfeld had to occur for the passion project curb

Has he taken any real risks with curb? Has there been a parking garage scene? a chinese restaurant? reverse Indian wedding?

Or is it just uncensored Seinfeld?

Just back from the states - help me out guys, when is it on here and which channel.

Thanks

It's too highbrow for mainstream Australian viewers so it's never shown. I wait every monday lunch for the download.

Last year ch 9 promoted a "seinfield" reunion disregarding it was actually a curb episode. That sums it up.

I laughed a fair bit watching it.
Its a comedy FFS and still a very good one, why do some people feel the need to look so much into it.

I think Seinfeld moderated his comedy in Seinfeld. Seeing Jerry on Curb I reckon him and Larry are soul brothers.

If that's the case why not use an actor of some sort?

Finally got round to watching Curb the other day, first 2 seasons polished off in a week, damn funny stuff. Beloved Aunt, man i lost my s*** :D
Not since Hank called Larry Sanders wife a **** has the word been so successfully used :p
