I would imagine Danny would have been looking for 3 dreaming of 4 years
If he continues his current form his worth will just increase and his bargaining power will be even higher next contract

Dont all players get there jumpers at the opening season presentation, I am sure they have to hand them in at end of season and get them presented again the next.

Gut feel is Toy (has been offered a 1 year contract) Moss (as he ids a local boy with good size 195cm and 91 kgs) and maybe Nicholls are all that will survive.
Flanigan and Hutchins should be bundled in a trade for a draft pick, Maybe along with Hickey (late first / early second rounder)

If we bundle a few Vic players like I mentioned earlier
Take your pick of Toy, Nicholls, Flanigan, Hutchins and Hickey (I know he's not a Vic) there has to be a scenario where we get a quality player or a good draft pick as well as ease our player numbers issue.

Moss is already cut, maybe not publically but hes cut, i know that 100%.
Nicholls will stay now that Hickey is leaving, legit prospect.
Hope we dump toy, hutchins, iles among others.

How do you know any of that? I mean considering Lewis Moss has played as many senior games as I have for the Suns doesn't make this analysis that far off, but where's this proof? Not a speculation thread iirc.
Side note: Why would you want to dump Illes? He works well in this system and is consistent.

Good news! I'll update the OP.
Taylor Hine has asked for a trade back to Melbourne, too. North are interested. Courtesy of Brad, our man at the local rag. A little disappointing, but not too surprising. With the likes of Jaeger coming in, it pushes him down the pecking order a bit more. Thought he really showed something as a midfielder in the back half of 2012.

Brad also informs me that we extended Warnock mid-season until the end of 2014. Rapt with that.
I know I will be accused of being negative but 1 year for Mav and then we have to go through the whole thing again.
Personally I would rather have Hine than Patrick, his enormous talent keeps being mentioned but I am yet to see him have a break out game and he makes some horrible errors.

Out of those 3 mentioned, such is the talent and x factor of Patrick that he is the most likely to win us a game than Hine or Weller. Deserves another year.
As for Hine improved significantly with his opportunity towards the end of the season and deserved a 1 year extension. Otherwise I suspect he would have been delisted/traded.
Weller almost seems a slow decision maker? Deserves a spot also and hopefully continues to improve, he is a nugget of a player and we need to keep the hard players.

Hine got offered the 1 year extension, but is looking at Melbourne for opportunities down there. Can't blame him really.
