They did review it and found nothing but they’re resurfacing the entire thing out of an abundance of caution.Surely our training ground needs to be reviewed.
If it persists across multiple high performance teams, then something is wrong.
I don't have the facts, but it feels like a lot of our injuries don't happen on gameday.
I must have misrememberedIt has been reviewed twice and one of the ovals has been resurfaced and is yet to be used so far this pre season.
As far as injuries not happening in games.
Edwards ACL game
Bryan ACL game
Martin ACL game
Draper achilleas . ame
Ridley has gone down a few times in games.
Langford soft tissue. Game.
Cox concussion. Game.
Hayes ACL. Game.
Reid hamstring. Game.
A few had repeat injuries at training but nearly all the injuries have their origin in games.

When you're repeating yourself, it's circle work.Well it is outside the realms of possibility. The programs are run through with all the heads in the football department.

The rest is not circle work. It is actually fact.
One bloke with a history of soft tissue injuries is injured and another maybe has an issue.
Thanks Cake. When you're repeating yourself, it's circle work.
Sorry to intrude, but it is possible that Inness is following the same method as when he commenced with us. Pushing them (the players) hard to build durability and resilience. Our perma injured stayed that way to start with (picking up injuries/having setbacks in the preseason), but once they got back onto the park, there was some improvement through 2024 and we had a really good year this year with not many soft tissue injuries at all.
He knows his stuff… but will be rough going for a while, especially with the media gleefully reporting on every ailment.
Am disappointed we have lost him (Inness) (shakes fist!).
All the best. They’ll come good![]()
One post above. Look up.Think I read on social media from a Hawks supporter that the first year Innes was on board, they had a seriously long injury list but in the second year came good and by year three was one of the better injury prevention programs.
It soundsl ike 2026 might be a tough year for guys like Ridley and Langford but 2027, once the S&C team have figured out the work loads they can manage then perhaps, just maybe they can have some fulfilling years.
The one off or impact injuries lets take a breath as just shit luck. Nothing you can do except hindsight revisionist bullshit we're all guilty of wanting to do as a coping mechanism,
No and it does sound like getting them to do the work, so they are more durable....some will get injured in the process.re you really shocked Ridley or Langford are injured ?
Innes does not have a magic wand.
