Are you all stupid? Fisher is we had of wanted to get rid of we would of managed a trade ( mid 40s pick maybe)

Which i would of liked to see the back of fish

But JR has started to show some real promise
Sure his goal kicking is shakey at best
But that will improve with time and confidence

His field kicking isnt the worst in the team and he is a worthy contributer to the team
He always gives 100% and i am happy to keep playing him
He is only turning 22 next year and will definately develop
I think we owe him at least the chance

Cain ACKLAND (please learn how to spell our players names) on the other hand should definately go

I just love to see how all of a sudden we have a fair bit of depth in our team nowadays. We have about three or four players who will be really stiff to miss out evry game. I drew up my best 22 the other day and then I had a few players who i really like in the emergencies column. I also forgot players like Carrazo so good signs for the blues. Even better when one ROK is running across the half fwd line hopefully.

I'm not so eager to give up Benjamin just yet (admittedly I haven't seen nearly enough of him playing for the Ants, but) if we really needed that 6th spot for a very promising rookie, I'd lean towards letting go of a player like Pfeiffer who may be the more reliable performer but in terms of potential doesn't come close to someone with Benjamin's freakish pace, even though it may be more of a risk.

You know what you're going to get with a player like Pfeiffer, but he is never going to be the difference between a premiership or not. I'd rather take the punt on Benjamin because if he doesn't make it in another year or two we can just as easily de-list him them, by which time Pfeiffer would most likely be gone too, so nothing lost. But if he does get past his soft tissue injuries and develop his game he could add so much.



While many would no doubt like to see these two and a number of other maligned players replaced by upgrades on the list, they are still far too valuable to simply delist. Your only hope of these 2 not playing in Navy Blue next year expired at 2:00pm.

Live in South Australia and dont get to see much of the footy. Whats the thing with BENJAMIN is he someone that has talent but not the head for footy. Should he get a shot this year????

Highly doubt Pfeiffer will be going anywhere. People forget he's still only young. There's plenty to work with imo.

He won't be part of a future Carlton premiership side. He's too short to play in the ruck, doesn't do enough forward to play as a long term forward, and can't play in defense. It would be a harsh move by the club but with Warnock coming onto the list it could be a proactive one.

I wouldn't do it but its an option.

Pfeiffer was the last one delisted. It's a toss up between him and Jacobs, a toss up that might be won by Pfeiffer just because we have the option to re-draft Jacobs onto the rookie list (unless another team gets him first).

Jacobs (Warnock and Kreuzer the two the club definitely want on the park with Cloke a good player around the ground for us, Hampson then another option and our 4th ruckman ahead of Jacobs).
Saddington

Possible delistings:
Benjamin (Not sure what the club thinks of him but hear he has good potential with frequent injuries preventing him from getting on the park when it looked like he was going to get a game)

Bannister (Has been around for a long time and does not offer us anything special from half back. Browne, Armfield and Anderson offer more and I am pretty confident one will show alot for us over the pre season and be in the side come 09. His pace is a worry but for some reason hope he is retained)

O'Hailpin (Depends on his standing with the club in my opinion. Has more to offer than some others on the list but will come down to his value, his brothers value and other delistings)

Just safe:
Edwards, Hartlett, Wiggins, Pfeiffer
These guys have next season to prove their worth to the club.
