I renewed my membership in November last year. I received my pack in the mail with stickers etc etc but no membership card. Rang this week and were able to get our seats (6 together) changed at the G which was pleasing, as we were put in the back row of level 1 with all the drunkards standing behind yelling obscenities during the game,,not good when 3 out of the 6 of us are kids. Was pleased that they took this into account and moved us well forward down the aisle. They said our season tickets will be sent out this week. Be patient guys as they are dealing with seat allocations and are getting through them as soon as they can. If the season was starting next week then yes id be concerned, but not at this point.

It's entirely out of the realm of possibility that one of their children is perhaps a teenager or older and wouldn't be referred to as a kid anymore :rolleyes:

We would need real momentum to hit 40,000+......NAB cup and 3 or 4 wins in the first 5-6 rounds.......tough ask.

Judd lighting up the G vs Tiges in round 1 having 2 goals and 30 possies for a BOG might help as well.;)
 
I signed up mid december and still haven't got anything. Anyone else in the same boat? Wondering if I should give them a call and see what's going on.

That would help a heap.
I think I remember reading somewhere that quite a few people sign up at round 1 - kinda like a tradition.

But still, I suspect 40,000 might just be out of reach this year.

You'll be surprised how many people buy memberships matchdays right up until the cut off which I think is in May.
If people like Juddy/Fev/Murph etc fire up early and we can get a couple of wins we'll be flying. But you're right HBF 40,000 is a bit optimistic.
 
I have it on good authority that we have passed 26,000 issued with hundreds still to process. :cool:

So you can take it to the bank that we are about 26,500, which is about 4,500 ahead of this time last year.

For whatever reason there has been a count about the 2nd of March in previous years. The table below should tell you we are doing very well compared to previous seasons.


@ 2nd of March:


2008: 27,000 +

2007: 22,500

2006: 16,500

2005: 20,000

2004: 19,000

2003: 21,620

Exactly. Long time between now and the cut off.
I think a new membership record will be set and we will reach 40k.:thumbsu:
Alot of people i know still havent signed but will by seasons start and im sure their are a lot more out there in the same boat.

Either way, it will be close. FWIW, I think we'll fall just a little short.
