Hi there,

just bought my membership yesterday. Yes me bad for waiting till now but had lots of expenses (rego, insurance, new ducted air con for house, bills, my 30th), and was always going to buy it in Feb no matter how our form was going into the season.

My question is.. how many members do we have at the moment? Other clubs seem to know!! How difficult is it to put a total member number on the CFC home page!

according to the membership tally that was shown along with the membership phone numbers during the coverage of the Game on Saturday evening, Carlton are currently over 25,000

Yes I saw that.. but that was almost a week ago.. we've had a win now and you'd think we'd be a bit more than that now.... does anyone know?

the reason why it is not on the cfc site is because of the upgrade the site is going through & will happen late Feb..... it may go on the website after that though not too sure

I asked one of the membership guys this week and he said about 26,000. I don't think that's an authouritive figure - we probably had that many by the end of Family Day.

One thing is that members are confirmed at board meetings (IIRC), so the tally will probably jump in stages rather than rise smoothly.

I don't think we will get 40,000. Should go close, maybe 38,000 is my guess. Would be great if I was wrong though.

I was getting a little anxious, but received mine I think Wed last week. I booked Standard gold together with my brother and a friend and we all got it the same day. So i guess it's just when you renewed / signed up.

I signed up early Nov fwiw.

Yeah I think you're right. In 05 and 07 we had big numbers sign on after the nab cup wins.

Even if we won it again, after the results from those years I can't see the same numbers signing on again. I would say if we start the H & A season poorly we will get 35-37k, if we can get on a roll I'd be guessing 38k+

I signed up again early January as I usually do, haven't received anything yet. Neither has my 8 month old boy, he's got his toddlers membership If it isn't here within a week I will be sure to give them a call and find out how long it's ganna take.

im gettin very anxious! rang up before christmas to renew my gold membership but also added my dad and asked for our seats to be changed and they said they'l call me back at the end of Janurary about the seats. anyway i called them a few weeks ago cause they didnt ring back and they said they'll call back in a few days. still havent heard from them so rang yesterday and they said they'll call back tomoro! (which was today) and i still didnt hear from them! im worried im gonna lose my seats!!

They called me about 3 weeks ago and organised our reserved seats and back then the seating options were pretty much Level 1 only. Level 2 was available but I couldn't get seats for three of us together.
