Does anyone have any idea where'd you need to be ranked roughly at this point of the season to still be in contention for the major prize? Taking into account that 2nd half of the year injuries can play havoc with rankings.

I'm sitting 1,184th at the moment. Would be 988th if I'd left Warren as an emergency. So roughly 1000 points off 1st place I think.

I'm still in the eliminator so I'm trying to work out whether I should just start to focus on staying in that if my overall ranking prize chances are shot.

top 500 imo, but really someone could storm home if they are ranked around the 1000 mark with 10+ trades and not many injuries

276th.

i will be looking at saving trades now, as im guessing quite a few teams in the top 500 would probably have 5-6 trades left and will decline towards the last 2-3 rounds.

my goal is to finish top 500.

and for what its worth this guys looking pretty good again to finish top 10.

728.

Happy with that considering I started at about 7.5K. Only been in the top 2K weekly rankings once as well. Been slowly moving up.

Finished about 650~ last year after being around the 200 mark for most of the year so hopefully top 300 this year. Would be stoked with that. :thumbsu:

Also noticed warnies 'warnedawgs' up to 14th :p

In my second year, and the first I'm taking a bit seriously I'm around the 12,000 mark.

I was top 3000 or so after 4 or 5 rounds but then dropped like a stone with zero after zero and amny bad scores leaving me around the 27,000 mark:eek:

But the last two weeks I have shot up the ranking rising 14,000 in two weeks. Last week I was top 1,200 in the weekly and this week was top 400 so it seems I'm back on track:thumbsu:

Well I'll have 7 trades after this week. You can see my current rank.

Goddard, Mackie, Hodge, Fisher, Cornes, Grimes, Enright/Scotland (Broughton/Suban)

Bartel, Ablett, Swan, Gibbs, Kornes, Muston (Anthony/Cockie)

Cox, HMac :)rolleyes:Spencer/Jacobs:rolleyes:)

SJ, Pavlich, Riewoldt, Deledio, Franklin, O'keefe, Higgins (M.Brown/Warren)

Happy with that and am hoping to do something like Warren -> Ballantyne and Muston -> M.Murphy leaving me with 5 trades.

Do you recon 5 trades is enough though?

It is why I'm ranked 325th and not 236th, note the two emergencies in the middle when all my mids were clearly playing, plus no M.Brown subbed on the field to cover for Skipworth who had done his hammy the week before.

You've had a pretty rough year with injuries/suspensions havn't you Hodges, how many trades you go tleft buddy? You absolutely annihilated it last year and I'm sure a DTer of your calibre will regroup next year and come back better than ever!
Ah I get you now. Still, your not far off the lead - just need to have one big round and your right up there.

And cheers mate, it has been a rough season. This year has taught me a heap of lessons about DT, really looking forward to next year. :thumbsu:

ah that is the question. in previous years 5 trades has been enough, however this year injuries seem to be occuring at ridiculous rates.

Have dropped from 500 something to 1664 in 3 weeks. It's been disasterous for injuries in the backline and poor scores from usually reliable players. I'm done for overall. Shall attempt to pwn my league now and hopefully go better next year.

222nd exactly the same as the convicts but i have 3 keepers on the bench injured and 6 injured in total. It's starting to bite. Three went down this week alone.

5 trades was no where near enough in previous years either. I spent 5 trades just on my backline in the last 10 weeks last year. The injuries this year have not been all that bad. I've had 16 injuries in 11 rounds so far, same rate as last year, just a bit more than the year before.

Im just inside the 10,000 but this is my first year. I think the main reason im doing so bad is because the forwardline i picked..Franklin, Didak, Fev, Thomas, Higgins, Skipworth, Hentshel. Last two week ive got 2200+ and 2000+ soim hopingto get inside the top 4000...is that too much to ask?

I've got his rd 4 team so i don't know if he did any early trades but these are my guesses on his setup so far.

hurn > lockyer
suban > broughton
raines > grimes
houlihan > hodge
beams > coughlan
harvey > stevie j
skipworth > lids
zeibell > pavlich
m. brown > franklin
thomas > sidebottom

anthony > beams is also a distinct possibility.

maximum 10 but 9 or less left i'd say, great job again this year. :thumbsu:

I'm currently 426th with 11 trades remaining. Only problem is i'm heading overseas in 2 weeks for 2 months which will most likely see me drop

149th for me with 8 trades left. I am planning to get Ablett in this week for Rich then get rid of suban/cheney for maybe hodge next week which will leave me with 5 for injury cover for the rest of the year.
