Custard are my favourite band of all time. I was just curious as to whether anyone else had heard of them and what they thought of them. For those of you who have not heard of them.

Don't mind them at all. Dave McCormack has a new band out called The Millionaires. They have been getting a fair bit of coverage on Brisbane radio via 4ZZZ. Here is the myspace link to them. Check out the cover of Faith. A ripper.

Anyone remember that song with the lyrics."called my baby a piece of shit, she hated I hated" or something along those lines.

Haha same for me. With the older brother, haven't heard them for ages.

Had Ringo on my phone for ages, that song always amused me.

That song is "Piece of Shit" from the album "We have the Technology". Great song. :thumbsu: Dave did a great job hosting tonight. Good to see some love for Custard. :D The only problem is that their albums are incredibly hard to get. I have "Loverama" from 1998 and a burnt copy of "We have the Technology". Basically non of their stuff is on iTunes and I don't think their albums are reissued. The only option is Ebay.

I have been listening to a lot of Wisenheimer lately and Goodbye Cruel World. I have also got a hold of "Love is the Devil" which is the album Mccormack did when he was a part of The Titanics. It is great listening.

When I think Custard I think Triple J, they had a couple of awesome songs.

I thought Wahooti Fandango was great and thought that Wisenheimer was pretty crap. Never made it past that album.

Saw them live twice. Once as the support to Crowded House's (then) last gig at the opera house and one at Shellharbour Workers Club with Regurgitator. I thought they were pretty ordinary both times.

Quality line up. :thumbsu:

Love Custard!
Was introduced to them when they we're a support band for Ben Folds Five way back when.
Fell in love with them instantly.

"Swing it to the left and Swing it to the right!"

Great times, was at the cornoer bar not so long ago in the beer garden and they had Loverama playing I sang along for the whole CD scored a free JUG for my efforts!

Music is CRAP
