thank you very muchAlthough, if were being pedantic, you wouldn't use the abbreviation, "etc". When writing formally you should always use, "et cetera".
However, as I've argued earlier, it's an internet forum, as long as your posts are readable, then never mind what the grammar and spelling nazis think.![]()

As far as I was aware a comma is not needed before saying 'and'.
To be fair Writing skills need practice.
There are several aspects to writing and the secret is to try and read it from how your audition will see it.
Actually a great place to learn are Internet forums, a good idea is to identify the more credible posters and you will see how they use of words makes a point quite often what they say isn't what give them credibility but how they write it for there could be 20 posts in a thread but there will be a stand out.
Now a question for Hawkes Heroes pick the error with the above paragraph.
thought so i was just trying to make it easier for them uni rev heads to read they want comma's i gave them comma's !As far as I was aware a comma is not needed before saying 'and'.
now seeing i am totally out of practice , did my change of a word and placement of the comma hit the right spot or did i stuff it up totally , out of interest .To be fair Writing skills need practice.

sorry about length if i get onto writing a reply i look at the keyboard and type like mad , hence the length and no comma's .![]()
That's okay, I wasn't looking at the length of your paragraphs, I was making a general comment about writing.
For if the length of the paragraph is short it enables you to get away without needing as many commas as other wise would be the case.
I know my grammar sometimes goes out the window for I write like I read and I read quick and sometimes I don't fully read what I have written.

Incorrect use of apostrophe.Should be 'their' & 'gives', plus the numerous comma's not there and the length of the sentence.
