Finally up to the DLC after starting a new play through a little while ago. In the past I always played some sort of tech build with a deck but this time went a melee (blunt) with tech shotgun + berserk operating system for something different. Feels naked not being able to hack but I guess it doesn't matter when you just sweep through mowing everything down and being pretty much invulnerable.

The entire start of Phantom Liberty until you unlock the safehouse and get to free roam is probably the most action packed the I've ever played the game and glad I've gone with the build that I did.

Hearing "I really want to stay at your house" still hits the same way too.
 
Updates have improved the game alot.

I've enjoyed the phantom liberty DLC alot... Finished the main part of it... Looking forward to doing it again and making different choices.

giving this a run through on my new PC

i played on ps5 back when it came out, was buggy as hell for me and tbh i wasnt super impressed. it was a big old let down back then.
i dont normally replay many games, especially longer ones like this, or if i do i dont typically get too far. i think there has been enough time between drinks though and with the updates + DLC im pretty keen. looking and running great so far.

just finished the prologue and ready for it to open up. the start was definitely slower than i remember

I need to get back into it, after the tutorial I've basically used the title screen animation as my screen saver :p

More like, I didn't want to relearn everything for a story that is still effectively the same. I enjoyed it the first time around, but now it's like yeah. Part of the appeal of a replay is that I already know what I am doing and what I want to try different. Now everything is different, but it's still kinda the same in other ways.

Message to fans of this game.

A new patch is dropping on June 26th that is said to content a significant update to the game.
Im not entirely sure what is coming , but if you have got this game uninstalled , its worth reinstalling it.

The game "feels" right in first person, like it kind of immerses me in the world. But it's such a stitch up having so many clothing options and what not when you barely ever actually see your character. For that reason alone 3rd person would be great.
