Cyril Rioli is still the most overrated player of all time.

Reigning premiership captain kicked to the curb just days after winning a flag -

Then to add insult to injury, son of premiership captain thrown in the gutter -

And another favourite son also unceremoniously kicked to the curb -

Exactly how long have you been following your club..? o_O:huh:
There is a huge difference between discarding a champion and gently putting them out to pasture but feel free to give me your opinion of how many more seasons Tucky had left in him? (We know what a great half dozen games Dermie had post Hawthorn).
As for Tuck junior- I agree that was a shame although the blame can be squarley placed on the corrupting influence of one of his relatives, who Im ashamed to say played a few games for Hawthorn- a real disgusting piece of reptilian filth.

Nice excuse but blaming Geelong for the demise of your youf and trying to sugar coat kicking your champs to the curb as "gentle retirement" won't wash around here I'm afraid.

Besides it's got nothing to do with what I think about their futures but Tuck and Derm were adamant they wanted to play on at Hawforn and the disloyalty your club showed those guys makes a mockery of your initial post on the subject. You're even showing the same disloyalty with your own thoughts on Derm's career post Hawforn in the wonder of hindsight. Culture.

The Travis Tuck fiasco is just extra salt rubbed into his old mans wounds by the club he bled for.

I think you are confused, where did I mention Geelong at all pray tell let alone tie them to our youth?
What you did to Kelly, Stokes, Johnson and Chapman etc. is well discussed on your board and is not universally loved there thats for sure.
Not the case for Tuck n Derm.
Tucky had played 450 odd games over 20 seasons so I reckon his career was at its end.
Dermot was cooked- totally and absolutely. He took a season off and when he came back he was still cooked.

Still doesn't excuse the lack of loyalty your club showed them which you loudly stated before never happens at the Hawfs. ;)

So disloyalty is shown at Hawforn then.
Thanks for clearing that up. :)

How rude was it of Dangerfield to show up Cyril's 17 & 2 with a 30 & 4.
So you've given up on those hacks, Tom Porkins and Stevie Shitflop ???
Can't say I blame you. They were f**kin' useless last night.

1 goal between them.

Porkins was schooled by Zac Dawson :$:$:$:$
Might be time to give him a spell in the VFL

Motlop with a lazy 26 touches. Cyril's highest ever was way back in 2011 with 29. That's just an average game for Motlop. :thumbsu:

Motlop with a lazy 26 touches.
'Lazy' being the operative word in that sentence. 22 of his 26 possessions were uncontested and they were all shit anyway. He was a lurking chip scab all night, watching his team-mates do all the dirty work.

Lol.. Motlop plays as Wing/HFF. It's his job to get 25-30 possessions. Cyril never lurks around the midfield, racking up meaningless possessions like Shitlop. He draws multiple defenders to him forward of centre and goes in for the occasional centre bounce

Anway, Cyril doesn't keep a tally of his 'touches'. More focused on putting pressure on opponents, causing turnovers and creating scoring opportunities for his team. That's what he builds his game around. The magic highlight reel stuff is just the icing on top.

Not insecure at all.
Nothing to do with security or insecurity. Just posting about footy and dispelling myths.
I don't really give two f**ks what opposition fans think of Cyril.
I put those stats up mainly for all the Hawk fans who glance at this thread.

Wow what a smack down, Mod's backfire this shit. Everyone knows Rioli would get a game at every club in the competition. Tall Poppy syndrome and jealousy is rife in this thread.
