All 3 can play brilliant football. Both are all very similar age, Beams the only premiership player thus far. Who would you take for the remainder of their careers?

Well with such a small sampling we misawell lock this thread now and crown Martin the best of the three, without contest.
Or we could leave it open and let Beams overtake Martin and win it by "miles". Which one sounds more realistic?

I thought so.

Beams comfortably, top 15 midfielder when fit - AA and dual best and fairest winner while Martin is neither

Would need a Richmond supporter to clarify but I would have classed Dustin Martin to be a midfielder with large stints in the forward line while Beams is your stock standard bonafide midfielder - yet they both average the same amount of goals and goal assists.

Stats wise, the ones that stand out are the goals, clearances and clangers of which the later two favour Beams heavily and the first is relatively even though I would argue Martin spends more time forward of the ball. Does Martin have an intangible quality that makes him better than Beams?

The intangible would be Martins 1 on 1 ability. Throw him forward 1 on 1 and defenders shit themselves, he's a genuine match winner. Should be played as a permanent forward imo

Beams best of that 3.

Can't believe Martin is leading the pole good player but not on the same level as Beams (even though he is a Lion).

Beams' move will cost him in the long run. I chose Martin because his game against Freo in Rd10 is better than anything the other 2 has produced and if he can consistently get close to that game week after week he will finish the better player.
