Good luck to werribee this weekend. They deserve all there success. 4 years ago the club was very unhealthy and unorganised. Thanks to Kirk and Joey, they are on the edge of C grade footy. Westy ,u r a legend. The place will always be special to me and my family. Kick Arse.

is there even a point in making an appeal? no one ever gets away with it, the panel have their minds make up before you even walk through the door and make the case.

I wish the VAFA could find somewhere better than St Bernards for finals
Fitzroy's defence is that Trav was being shepharded while in the play and was hit in the chest and received concussion when his head hit the ground.
Find it hard to believe that you would go to ground that hard while being sheparded and with that much force to get knocked out. Must be a pretty good player for Fitzroy to waste everyone's time.
I understand there is other evidence to substantiate Werribee's case. If I were Fitzroy I would take the 5 weeks.
Heard from a good source St Bernards ground has been rotary hoed for preparation to cricket season and that VAFA looking at Soldiers Reserve if they can get enough staff to man the ground to receive admission fees.
They should try and get Victoria Park for all the D1 finals
Back on again with Central Reserve games moved to Monash, shame they cant move Saturdays games there as well

whilst it would be great to have it at soldiers for werribee, it would be unfair, finals need to be played at neutral grounds.
very impressed with our boys this year, kirk tried a few different things with structures such as moving azz to permanent FF, podgey to CHB and moving the two FF´s from last year (rossy and tate) into the ruck has been a move which has paid off big time. steff has also made a huge difference in the midfield and with the core group playing another year together, things are only heading up down tiger land.

the only reason that its at monash is because they called the vafa after werribee and were told if they didnt like the finals being pushed back a week then they could find another that is avaliable because the vafa couldnt. monash offered their ground because they have a footy trip booked and $10,000 in deposits so pushing it back another week wasnt an option.
