Welcome back sideshow
Once again ur speaking in riddles and people will not be sure of what ur speaking of. Feel free to be more specific.
I'm happy to fill you in on any questions you have.. Otherwise crawl back into ur hole and stay there

I wasn't sure what it all meant either.... but with the help of google I found out that Dudley St Is where gryphons ground is.

St Johns played them there last start and can only assume the insinuation is the boys in white shorts were up to no good on and off the field.

How'd i go Sidewinder?

Well sideline you're off the mark again. Not that I expected anything else.
Hits to the back of the head??? One St John's player was reported for striking in retaliation to 3 off the ball incidents and a first punch thrown by that same player that missed. He saved himself 2 weeks by being uncoordinated. Unfortunately the St John's player was coordinated, was reported and received 2 weeks.

As for the slab after some digging I found out St John's took a slab off Monash and are returning it in the return bout.

Stirring up trouble much Sidecart??? Get back in your hole but please come out for the round 18 clash. See you at the bar for a chat and a cold one. My shout.

4/5 last week 29/35 total. Missed out on us, we were poor and StJohns were very good. They don't have any stars but play as a team and are well drilled. All 22 contributed whereas we left it to too few.
This week I'm tipping us to bounce back against Richmond.
St. John's too strong for Monash
Parade comfortably at home against South
Ivanhoe too good for Elsternwick
Blues in a tight one over the Unicorns
4/5 last week 33/40 total. Missed on the unicorns which I'm sure most did.
This week :
Very happy with the way we went about things against Richmond last week and hopefully we can carry that form into this week with a win over the blues
The unicorns surprised with a win over the blues last week and I'm tipping them again over the snakes by 6 goals
Elsternwick caught a few sides off guard last year at their home deck but expect Parade to consolidate their spot in the top 4 with a win
Monash to see Souths winless at the half way mark. Expect them to come out firing though searching for their first win.
Match of the round down at doveton sees the top two slug it out. Topping the home side to make it 9 straight. Both teams very similar in that they don't rely on a few to get the job done everyone plays a role and contributes.

Cracking round of footy interesting to see how it pans out

Elsternwick vs Old Paradians - Elsternwick to upset the raiders this week, with the bye helping them get their best team on the park

South Melbourne vs Monash Gryphons - R Fletcher to kick a bag and get the Gryphons over the line

MHSOB vs Richmond Central- Home ground the deciding factor

St Johns vs Ivanhoe - The Hoes to rise above the "tough" football of St Johns and get the job done

Northern Blues vs Old Eltham - Eltham too good.

Reserves

Elsternwick vs Old Paradians - No depth at Elsternwick

South Melbourne vs Monash Gryphons - Monash reserves too good

MHSOB vs Richmond Central- Cracking match with both teams having strong twos

St Johns vs Ivanhoe - The Hoes to rise above the "tough" football of St Johns and get the job done

Northern Blues vs Old Eltham - Northern Blues young side too quick

Some interesting games to bring us back from the mini-break:

Elsternwick vs Old Paradians
South Melbourne vs Monash Gryphons
MHSOB
vs Richmond
St Johns vs Ivanhoe
Northern Blues vs Old Eltham

Impressive win away today from the Hoes after a tight first half. The Jocs lost two players early (20 and 12) to what looked like bad injuries and then another a little later (10) straight to hospital. Add to that two reports and another yellow card and they were up against it in the second half.

That said, the young Hoes stayed focused and started to run harder and hit up a variety of targets up forward to play some great footy in the second half.

The Jocs coach has an interesting way to lead his charges and was involved in several 'verbals' with our supporters throughout the day - to be fair though, I imagine our guys were not blameless after getting a little excitable with some of the on field activities. That's footy I guess.

The re-match later in the year will be a cracker. But for now, we get ready for a big game against the Snakes at Hoe Park.

Beer time, Chump

How eagerly we await the response from Finespermformer.:)

Old Sideshow welcome back my friend. I presume Elsternwick had a win today. Congrats, my boys were beaten by a good unit but not disgraced.

Ravaged by injuries they battled but yet beaten by a good side. We will see them again and it will be a good game. I'll back us in to get them next time.

As for u. You're a peanut, from a rabble of a joint who will struggle to be in this competition next year. In fact you are irrelevant this year as you were last year. Crawling out of your hole you take pot shots at a club well in front of urs. I'm still very keen to buy u a beer and have a discussion of your thoughts. When the real footy is played we'll be playing and you'll be picking up the pieces on the sideliner.

Good to see the Hoes have a great win and have Seniors Reserves and Colts all on top.
The hard work on and off the ground is paying dividends so far.

Jingle Bells!

Besides.... I would have hated the thought i spent 6 weeks suspended for crimes against my 'own' side :p

Excuses, excuses excuses. Always have the answer. Well good for you.You must soon run out of school yard insults to labor this forum with. It's not personal but from your side it seems to run with the coach's history. I won't bother anyone with that. Oh, by the way, welcome back? WTF does that mean? You only joined this thread to make excuses for St Johns. Nobody, I repeat, Nobody from St Johns has bothered with big footy. Ever. I'm surprised at your literacy skills. Remember to thank your mum for letting you use the computer. Now go and polish your halo!

No excuses Sidey as I said the better side won on the day. The facts are we lost 3 players before half time which would hurt any team. Ivanhoe played a good brand of footy and St John's ran out of legs quickly. I would think the next game will be closer when St John's have a full quoter all day like the first half was.

I say welcome back as you only seem to turn up on this forum when you have something to say about St John's. Why don't we ever hear about the fantastic things going on at the sensational club fighting to remain in D2. Perhaps it is because there is nothing to speak of? Wins far a few between and an club struggling and that is still irrelevant.

I appreciate how impressed you are with my literacy skills. I probably went further in school than you did. Year 9 was an enjoyable year. It's a shame you didn't make it that far.

Nobody sits on computers anymore halfwit, technology has advanced lately if you weren't aware.

Good luck this week as the relegation battle heats up. I'm sure you'll be back soon to comment on St Johns. If you get really confident feel free to enlighten us all on the wonderful things happening at Elsternwick. Can't wait to see you at the Round 18 clash. Get dropped off as you wouldn't want your Hub Caps to go missing.

Also a neutral supporter,
Ivanhoe look the goods at the moment and would have to be flag favorites for mine and I think they will face off with Old Parade who I'm tipping to storm home the back end of the year, I've seen a couple of the parade games this year and they look like when they are on they are going to be hard to beat.
From what I've seen this year I think the Sudanese kid from St. John's is the best young talent! He is amazing to watch.

From what I have seen of the bottom half this year I think souths and elsternwick to go down.

Now the question what game to try get to this week!!
I think St.Johns vs Northen will be a cracker if the Jocs haven't lost to much with the injuries I've read about above.

tough weekend of footy to pick!!
Monash
Parade
Ivanhoe
Eltham
Northen

3/5 last week 36/45 total. At the halfway mark no real surprises for me. Northern Blues may snatch a finals spot, the snakes and unicorns outside chances but would have to win some games against the top 5 teams. This week looks to have some cracking games also

Eltham over Souths
Parade in a tight one over MHSOB
Ivanhoe too strong for Richmond
St John's to bounce back against the Blues but only just
Monash to beat Elsternwick in the relegation battle on their own deck
