Popped in for the Tiges/NOBS game this afternoon, good footy and Werribee won by a goal in a close contest. NOBS generally had the skills but Werribee ran them into the ground all day. Good stuff.

Bentleigh had a good win today against Heatherton.....
We started a bit slow, but really hit back hard it the third quarter, and ended up beating them by about 5 or 6 goals (The scorers stopped updating the scoreboard half way through the last quarter)
Chris "Shooter" Sharp played well out of the goalsquare, kicking about 5 goals, meanwhile a lot of the young kids ran hard, and are looking like they'll easily step into seniors footy straight away.
Good signs for the Dees....but still, we'll have to see how everything goes when the season starts in two weeks...
Werribee also had 7 players of our top 18 out.
Yeah he was on the sidelines, covered in ice and punching the bench! So the 19th bloke was there then?
That shooter guy is a machine! Were heatherton undermanned or was bentleigh just to strong... any new faces to look out for down at demonland??
Spot on Reece Baker looks like a real player of the future... Also Needle has been killing them so look for him to have a big impact @ senior level in the early part of the season....get up the werribee tigers.. just smashing anything in their path.. reecey baker back on the track good signs for the tiges..
Tigernuts was a great game of footy and I was expecting and hoping for a close hard game of football and we definently got it, while being only a practice game, got to say you guys looked like a decent outfit! Unfortunately we were missing 7-8 of our best 18 players (J. Barker, Tonkin, Hosko etc) so it was hard as a fan to gauge where the team is going to be at this year, were you guys at full strength? Good luck for the rest of the year cheers NOBSPC supporter

Regional Leagues Fantasy Footy League?
Seeking interest in players for a Regional Leagues fantasy footy comp.
This is a) not real footy and b) not pick-a-team-of-AFL-players footy. Its even lazier!
All you do is express interest, I'll do the rest via QOOTY, a crappy random aussie rules simulator I created years ago and have been trying to bring up to speed. FAQs here : http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75728
I'll try to collate a league of teams that are representative of the more popular local leagues here, so I need raised hands from the posters. I won't make up any names, I won't allow any sudden new arrivals.
So either post here or PM me if you want your Bigfooty alter-ego registered for a team.
Hopefully we can turn some rivalries into some even more potent partnerships!
I'll probably aim for starting the season, say, end of next week. I MAY have to be an inflexible prick with okaying a team and treating latecomers.
For this season, hopefully the inaugural season of an ongoing league, all we need are 20 players per team. There is already a Fantasy league, more closely based on the AFL clubs, at Bigfooty, here : http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30 - its into its 7th season and has developed a bit of history! There is also another league at another footy forum site, this year with only 3 teams but had been as strong as 5 clubs in its 3 year tenure.
So get in touch if you're interested. Remember you don't have to do anything apart from dob your Bigfooty nickname in for a spot. Please tell me which club/league of regional footy you would prefer to be aligned with (please state both).
We'll see how we go. If it doesn't happen, ah well, if it happens later than I hope ... I'll still give it a burl.
Onward lads! ...
Let's get real, Nobs in real strife losing to werribee!
No idea, I've nothing to do with Werribee and only went to see and be seen...

I hear there may be another massive transfer to CY's if Javo doesn't watch himself!Still very quiet out at Williamstown, I've noticed a stack of clearances going to the CYMS including a very good player from South Melbourne, Will Cooper. Anyone got any mail on how they are travelling?
The only transfer that javo will be unvolved in is a hotdog getting transferd from the canteen lady to himI hear there may be another massive transfer to CY's if Javo doesn't watch himself!![]()
