Hahaha....you'd have to say that most of this forum is about off-field stuff....
what the pies are like at the canteen.....who's fat, who's fit....who got ******* on the weekend....

It's like a red head getting yelled at on the field.....got nothing to do with footy....but he sure as hell will cop it from the opposition when he plays.......as will Costello I'd imagine...

I'm sure they will try and give him grief but they will stop after he has kicked his 3 goal in the qtr as the willi boys shut up quick after he kicked his fourth in the first 15 mins.
Not bad he played 20 mins for the game and kicked 4 and took 8 marks.

does anyone want to try and predict who will be relegated?and does anyone think glen eira can sneak into the 4,as leos and banyule have tough runs home, they both have to play us and we need percentage,as well we are 2 senior players off full strength as results over the past 3 weeks has shown, feed back would be great cos this forum has been very quiet lately...

It has been quiet as we keep losing!!!

Glen Eiara are certainly coming but would need approx 2 * 75 pt wins over Leos and Banyule

Still a tough ask for Glen Eira to get there Id say

Hopefully we get the win and hoping the Aquinas boys arent taking the foot of the gas this week against Banyule - Young Blood please confirm!!:thumbsu:

I can assure you that we are definitely not taking the foot off the pedal.. We too have quite a lot ot play for! We still need to win at least 1 probably 2 of the remaining game to get that vital double chance! So drifter u can sleep easier tonight knowing that we will be doing everything possible to win this week!!

As an earlier post mentioned about some "all australian" positions, does anyone want to give out some names of players that could make it from each team?
I would say from Aquinas probably Whitehead, Maaskant and Toomey are a few front runners with another couple in contention!!

Harper,

Is your club going to do anything about the incident that happened with about 10 minutes to go in the last quarter. Spectator and waterboy punching on. Police involved and it doesn't look good for your club having an ex player do this.

SMD fronted the VAFA last night - anyone know the outcome??

with finals coming up this is where the big boys come out to play, this is where we seperate the boys from the men, this is where i step up and start winning games off my own best in the comp skills off both sides of the body, i may get picked on a bit in here, but gee can i play on the big stage!!! i think i could be the difference this week in a big game against bentleigh, then may have 30 possis against aquinas the week after. anywayz this week my tips are
Aquinas at home comfortably over a below par final contender in banyule
St.Leos to make it hard for banyule to play finals with a win over glen eira
Salesian to account for an ordinary willi who i tore apart last week
Werribee in a close 1 against St.Johns
And I should beat Bentleigh, i mean South Melb should win in a tight one
Good luck for this weekend everyone!!!

For Bentleigh, you can't go past James Robertson who despite playing in a side that has struggled all year will poll well in the league B&F & the other one would be Scott Lawry, super young player

I love your confidence mate - no doubt we'll have to tag you with 2 players if we run into SMD again!

Ok St Leos to end GE's season
Aquinas doing the right thing and knocking over Banyule (the Bloods owe Banyule for earlier in the year too)
SMD over Bentleigh
Werribee by a lot of St Johns hurting their %
Salesian to avoid relegation witha win over Willy

SMD fronted the VAFA last night - want to share the outcome??

Players will be told at team selection tonight, I won't be discussing it on these boards, if you would like to talk about it introduce yourself at Albert Park on Saturday.

Robbo is a classy player who would be a standout in any team, I'm pretty sure I have some money on him with Jono for the league BnF.
Will he play this week? Will Sharp play?

Thats just plain stupid, i could have a guess at who it is. My guess would be Shakira, Moose or Turtle Neck.

I can assure you this is not me as everyone knows my forum name is saints. And i was not that good against Willi.

Ding Dong Dean Bell has been suspended from all VAFA games for life plus at all SMD finals games this year they must supply a registered Secutiry Guard between 11am and 5 pm and along with a club official who can recognize Bell must search the ground to make sure he is not there and if he is will be ordered to leave the ground
Good work VAFA

Without knowing all details, I was told that it was the Werribee waterboy who jumped the fence and therefore started the incident. Has anything happened to him or the club?

Good questions Harper but you will have to wait until Saturday to find out.

I will try to find you after the game for a beer

Well surely if that is the case, the Werribee waterboy would of at least got 1 yr suspension. Once you jump the fence and are off the playing surface you are asking for trouble, not condonning what happened but to jump the fence and confront a member of the public.....thats a bit silly.

by all accounts he jumped the fence as there were a few female supporters being heavily abused. he went over to try to cool the guys down and tell them to ease off a bit. the rest is history.

Fair point saints, but when some women are getting abused, and you go to try and settle things down, you dont expect to walk away with a busted nose and a gouged eye.

I love the wording.

As if a waterboy from Werribee would cool down some supporters from the opposition. He knew what he was getting himself into when he jumped the fence.

Would find it very staggaring if South coped all the blame for this. It takes two to tango.

Is that the same guy who went nuts at the Tribunal last year and was banned for life from playing?
