I was told that coming back this time was fine but if i were to leave again and get paid i would most prob not be alowed to play in the VAFA again. With that though you can go and plead your case to the VAFA.

This is true. They changed the ruling at the start of last season. Previous to this, if you had played in the ammos and left for coin they wouldn't allow you back in unless you sat out of football for a year.

You used to be allowed only one reinstatement in your career, but reinstatements no longer exist, you can come and go as you please. Thats why many A/B Grade clubs have lost players to EFL, etc. Players know they can now come back anytime.

Mate, the one thing i didnt leave for was $$$$$$$$$. You would know this if you knew what i actually got paid. Money never came into my mind. I actually left to play with some mates i played junior football with and also a few boys went to school with and to also play some better football. I loved the 2 years i played at the Colts and some people there are some of the nicest people i have ever met.
The reason i came back to SMD is that i didnt like the direction the colts were going and i wasnt really enjoying my football. If you wanna know what i meant by that you can PM cause i wont elaborate on a public forum. It was aslo a chance to play with all my best mates that i have grown up with.
If money was ever an issue i would of stayed at Colts but i think people who play for money are a joke. You play to play with your mates and have a laugh.
Is that a good enough reason to A) Go play with the Colts and B) Come back to SMD

I was told the only mates you had were twinkle toes, ray and phillips, and dont they all play at SMD.

went down and watched the south districts play who ever they played!! south played some good footy and the other team was just a bunch of rabble, they couldnt play footy so they tryed going the punch and couldnt do that either!! souths ruckman would have been b.o.g took some nice grabs and controled the center all day! w.o.g(worst on ground) would have went to a south player as well. number 13 his discision making and clanggers under no pressure was terrible. plus his shorts where warrick capper like! back to the 2's for that bloke i would think!! also could someone tell me why luke kealy wasnt playing? he was the reason i went down to watch this so called best in the comp player to find him holding up the canteen line eating all the pies!!

Went down to the poo farm to watch a mate play for Glen Eira. What a pack of rabble the poo farmers are. One spectator dressed in club top told an opposition female to 'shut up you ****'. A supporter threw a coin at one of Glen Eira players, missed and hit their own captain. The interchange steward went troppo and threatened to kill a player who was coming off. The reserves boundary umpire didnt return after halftime as his own players were abusing him. I think there is just too much poo in the water down there. Thank god in my division we dont get this crap.

I can assure you phantom that the whole division isnt like this. I understand what your saying about the werribee supporters. I am sure as a whole they are not like this but unfortunatly a couple of unsavory types reflect badly on the whole club. I am speaking from experience here.

I agree with Ricky, although there were some unfortunate incidents with the crowd yesterday and maining between Werribee supporters, most of the Werribee players are good blokes and it seems their committee are working hard to push the club forward. It is sad that a minoirty of the supporters spoil it for the rest of the club.

Gee....doesn't sound like the nicest bunch of supporters around....
Someone give them the angry pills on Saturday? Coz they weren't that bad when we played there...

Bad luck to St John's on the weekend. They fell victim to some poor umpiring decisions. All in all, they probably weren't game-deciding ones, but it is always frustrating when a game that close has some completely obvious wrong decisions made. (like the out-of-bounds on the full right in front of the interchange bench).
Bad luck guys....look forward to playing you again in a couple of weeks

With that coin incident the full forward #1 threw the coin(he found on the ground) at one of the supporters cause they were getting stuck into him, the coin was the thrown back at him but missed and yes it did hit the senior captain who was then apologised to after the game.

The boundary incident was also sorted after the game with him apologising to the players about his outburst and to the coaching staff about it as well.

i am not sure what you mean by the term rabble as both the seniors and reserves are sitting comfortably in the the top four.As a club we try to set a high standard so the club can keep improving.

May i ask which club you play for must not be in the amatuers as if it was you must have not got a game.

And like we always say buddy the best part of you goes there

Actually Javo, he didn't throw it at the supporters he tossed it on the ground in front of them and told them to buy a personality, it was pretty funny. But the idiot supporters sitting over there didn't see the funny side of it and threw it at him as hard as they could. As I said previously it seemed like there were a few d..kheads there spoiling it for the rest of the club.

I personally think you are both tossers!

Where did you learn English? Werribbe kindergarten. If you guys don't think your supporters are feral you have rocks in your head.

Strobler either you are trying to be funny in spelling Werribee wrong or you are just an idiot yourself. All supporters get feral. When we played Aquinas their reserves players were standing behind the goals and near the scoreboard giving it to our players. Everyone has them. It is a bit of banter that happens. I'm sure when we play Glen Eira in a few weeks there supporters will return the banter with interest.

If its true that Werribee supporters did throw a coin at a player then Werribee should step in and make sure those supporters are not at any more games. There is no more anyone can stick up for those kind of people. If things like that happen it wont be long until there is unrest in the crowd between opposing fans. We do not want this. Banter is fine but when it gets violent thats out of line. Same goes for any officials, officiate the game and thats it.
I would like to know more on this as i wasnt there. I hope it was all a misunderstanding.

I witnessed the incident. The Glen Eira player obviously found something on the ground (think it was a $2 coin) and removed it form the playing field. Not over the fence but just placed it over the boundary line. It was definately not thrown at the Werribee supporters. I am pretty sure if he did throw it at the Werribee boys something would have come out of it. After removing the object he said something along the lines of "go buy yourselves a personality".
The Werribee "faithfull" obvioulsy took offence to that and decided to hurl the coin at the Glen Eira player's direction. It missed him and hit their own captain. The captain was not to pleased with his fellow teamates and proceeded to give them an almighty spray.
We really dont need these kind of incidents occuring.

As serious as the incident of throwing an object at a player, especially something that is potentially dangerous, is, that is pretty funny.

'Go buy yourself a personality' hahah then the nuff nuff realises the only form of retaliation ihe's got is to throw it back. hahah werribbee, if it wasnt for those bloody hotdogs...

Sounds like that 'fan' had a horrible time. Hitting his own captain. you cant write that sort of stuff.

Totally agree with you mate, no need for that type of rubbish to happen at a suburban footy game.

Totally agree Javo, let's hope this is a one off incident, and the club is dealing with this moron.

Terrific round of football.
Salesian looked like they pushed Aquinas, and my mail is that Hazell didn't play, so good effort by them. Aquinas too strong though, and still look the team to beat.
Werribee doing it easy, another good result against Glen Eira.
Similar with SMD, comfortably beating Banyule. Have the wheels fallen off Banyule, or do they have a few out? They started the year very strongly and are now outside the four. Perhaps teams have worked them out?
St Leo's had a terrific come from behind win against Williamstown, with a number of quality senior players out. Quality outfit Williamstown, a good, young quick side, play the game in the right spirit, and appear to be well coached. They just need some confidence to win these close ones, and they will pick up some very big scalps on the run home.
Great to see Bentleigh get the points, again a young team working their way through the grades. Would have been a big night Black Mamba? St Johns certainly struggling away from home.

I think we are certainly starting to see where everybody is at. Aquinas and SMD clearly the teams to beat, and Werribee hot on their tails. The race for fourth is hot, with St Leos, Banyule, Glen Eira and St Johns all going neck and neck. It's very even in D2!

Just trying to be funny, Thought the poo farmers would get the joke

Good from you Kibe

Good win for Leo's and much needed to stay in tough with the Top 3. Aquinas havent played SMD yet and that is obvously a good game coming up though.

Willy were on top for 3 quarters - we did well to turn it around in the 4th.

2 more away games for us in a row - so we'll worry about Glen Eira this week.

Any news on their injuries anyone???

Finally disgraceful by the Werribee fan - club logically should ban him from future games

Cheers
