could'nt care less about the other games.werribee to have another big win against souths.too quick, too good and possible return of s.daly will certainly strenghthen the side.werribee by30 points.

See thats what i like to see on hear, a bit of confidence. Werribee certaintly are not short of that. I hope that your wrong and i think you might be. We also have some big ins but who cares who is in it will be 22 on 22 and we need to prove something this week.
Hopefully the game is played in the right spirit as we know its going to be hard, always is between the 2 of us.

And what a big week it has been in d2 football, the following are my tips for this weekend..

Aquinas v Willy - The bloods should win this one easily, they will bounce back by 10 goals.
Bentleigh v Banyule - Banyule to win by 2 goals, get there season going again.
Salesian v Glen Eira - Salesian have been going along very quietly, were ultra impressive last week, getting players back which could see it win 4 on the trot..salesian by 1 point.
South Melb v Werribee - Match of the Day indeed. Werribee by 4 goals.
St Johns v St Leos -As for the animals, should hopefully get some players back, strengthening our ruck division, which will be a big key against the jocs who loose handy through suspension...Forwards looked dangerous last week, add to that belz back to the foward line and should see the animals come back with the 4 points, stopping pattie is the key..Animals by 2 goals. :thumbsu:

You training tonite Cannons??

Were you there on Tuesday?

will you be attending ? what do u make of this w/e's games n yeh nah wont bethere.

:confused::confused::confused:

Are you training or not?

My Tips (im rushed this week)

Aquinas by plenty over Willy - thats a lock
Salesian over GE - really good game expected - 5 goal margin
Werribee over SMD - Match of the Day - huge consequence - both are really strong teams but Werribee's form to offset the home ground factor for SMD - say 3 goals
Bentleigh V Banyule - hopefully Bentleigh
St Leos V JOCs - hopefully us

What club are you actually affiliated with Cannons? The info you have written, is factually incorrect. If you do follow St Leo's, do you play? How many games have you seen? Who is drifter?

I was starting to think that I'd seen and heard it all in footy after last weeks amazing round. That was until I opened the Amateur Footballer last night and had a read of what our diligent D2 scribe Jono Healy had to say about this weeks 1st vs 3rd clash at Albert Park.

Has Jono been working too hard, under the enormous stress of what ever it is he does outside of footy?

Did the stress of a potentially huge payout to myself affect his thought process when putting pen to paper this week?

Or is Jono revealing his humorous side to his loyal readers?

Jono, please, a South Melbourne win GUARANTEED! and who they hell is Smooth Jimmy?

It will be a great contest with either side capable of winning and of course Werribee have history on their side as the last away team to take the points at Hassett oval way back in 2005.

Jono, please take a holiday before you do some permanent damage to your sense of reason. D2 needs you dude!

Well written lads - I did find his tip a very good read and Im glad Werribee arent playing us after that

Hope everyone packs there thermals tomorrow, going to be bitterly cold and wet. Not the best conditions.

Just a quick shout out to young Jules Mervich, has decided to hang the boots up at SMD and move to Perth. West Perth offered him big coin and a job in the mines. Will be sorely missed.

Mate Jono Healy is a dead set blonk. Never picks SMD then when we get smashed by the bottom side and are playing the top side he picks us. He has no clue. I would say Werribee would be $1.40 favourites. We will have to play our best game of the season to beat them.

I'm currently working on a trade with the East Freo sharks in bid to lure Robbie Cheevers back to SMD in exchange for Jules. Jeff Farmer is said to be extremely pleased with this scenario as he will swap his nemesis for a new drinking buddy.

Good Luck Julza!

Hey one man band. You would be looking forward to playing the districts tomorrow at there ground. If memory serves me correctly the last 3 times we have played there the lowest bag of goals that you've kicked has been 6 am i right?

I have now spoken with Smooth Jimmy and he assures me that Jono is operating alone and does not endorse South Melbourne Districts as his 'Lock of the week'

http://thecheapseats.blogs.com/thecheapseats/2005/09/smooth_jimmy_vs_3.html

Smooth Jimmy was talking up the chances of West Virginia Uni and as i started to lose interest in his seppo crap I noticed this on his site.

Harpers "Lock of the Week!"

The House of Pain/Fortress is a shit heap!!! its muddy and the centre is terrible and there are bear patches everywhere, makes it like a big sand pit, terrible ground!!!!
thanx mah mah i might just be the 1st player this year to play in a wetsuit,as i nearly did when i played at aquinas...

hay boys wondering if anyone from SMD could tell me if the KERNEL SANDERS (luke kealy) had been given a license to kill tomorrow? bacause give him no longer then 5 minutes a qtr and hes gunna need C.P.R. by half time.

i don't know where you're from stooge, but i think most would agree the Aquinas deck has held up very well this year...if you were talking about 2 years or more ago you might have a point, grass used to be a novelty past round 10.

Luke Kealy played his best game for the districts today, perhaps now all the Port Colts blokes who have been giving him a hard time can finally GAGF'd

Well done Luke
