i love ur confidence drifter leos have lost 5 on the trot and face a full strength ge this week,GE is going to be extremely physical this week and so hard at the ball its not funny,we should have beaten you last time having kicked 7.17 i dont think we will make the same mistake twice...so GE to end leos season comfortably.
Waterboys should deliver water...thats it....fullstop...

Yeah enough said, lets focus footy.
Big weekend for both sides of the ladder. Teams still hopeful of finals whilest others are avoiding relegation. Could we see more upsets?
I've already tipped St Johns to beat Werribee this week! Anyone agree??
Personally I don't know why people continue to single out SMD's reputation. Having played against them since the early 90's in SFL & now VAFA I don't see that they are any different to any other side you come up against. Over time footy has changed & all clubs, including SMD, have changed along with it. Surely no one on here believes that their club has no skeletons in the closet & no incidents over the years, on & off field, that they aren't proud of.Bad kicking is bad football Stooge. We haven't made excuses the last 5 weeks, just beaten by better teams. I personally can't wait for tomorrow, think you will see a very committed St Leo's outfit. Look forward to having a beer with you after the game.
Harper,
Feel, for you mate, and obviously what you have written is coming from the heart. Unfortunately for you guys, a couple of bad eggs spoil the reputation of SMD, and it is a reputation they have had over a number of years. I understand your frustration, however even this year there are certain things that don't help your cause - even though you guys are trying to turn this around.
All the best this weekend, and let's hope this is the end of any negative incidents regarding SMD.
Alright Sloth, I'll have a crack at another $50, 5 leg multi. I lost my pesos last week due to a solid home win by the bears who no doubt still hold September dreams.
Season: Harper = $864.95 Jono = 295.00
Aquinas @ $1.18. Too good to even chance losing top spot, that'll have to wait 'till next week. (6 goals)
GE @ $1.90. On a hot streak and will do whatever it takes to have a game in 3 weeks! (4 goals)
Salesian @ $1.65. Will be close but I'll tip the Salesian midfield to control the game and give the forwards plenty of quality supply. (1-2 goals)
SMD @ $1.33. Playing at home.........yada, yada, yada (1 point)
Werribee @ $1.70 Want second spot back badly and simply cannot afford to drop this one 2 weeks away from September!
Jono, thats $50 @ $8.36 for a potential earn of $368.20
Should be a good round of footy.
Anyone want to frame a market for the important games this week? Still no guarantees on spots 3 and 4.
SMD by only a point???
Any reason?
While we need the percentage of a big win it's always nice to beat your arch rival by a heartbreaking margin. I hope you know what I'm saying. Sort of along the lines of..... What's better than beating Collingwood by 10 goals? Beating Collingwood by a point.
Just my twisted sense of humour I guess
Fair enough mate, should be a good game anyhow!
Always a ripping game against Bentleigh, 1's and 2's. I'm wondering if Santa Claus from Bentleigh will be there to resume dialogue with the SMD ladies!
Plenty of the boys are excited about seeing our buddy Fishlock again too!
yeah im just having a bit of a niggle cant wait for this 1,should be a great game, keep the frothies on ice...Bad kicking is bad football Stooge. We haven't made excuses the last 5 weeks, just beaten by better teams. I personally can't wait for tomorrow, think you will see a very committed St Leo's outfit. Look forward to having a beer with you after the game.

not after wat i saw last week,GE gave them an almighty touch up and completely shut them down,im hopeing for a werribee win but jocs at home will be a difficult game for werribee, jocs to finish bottom 2I've already tipped St Johns to beat Werribee this week! Anyone agree??
Not tomorrow harps...Santa's gonna be busy elsewhere....
(*crack jokes about the North pole here...)
Thinking back to last time we played, and that whole incident occurred...I remember one of the ladies saying, "I bet you Bentleigh people are ashamed of this man"...
After hearing about all this waterboy incident (which I might term 'watergate' from now on...hahaha) I wonder what her thoughts are on one of her own???
I'm still a bit confused about what happened with watergate...was it dean bell or the waterboy who swung the first punch?
Either way, they should BOTH be ashamed of themselves....you go to the footy to enjoy the sport, not smash someone's face in...
Anyway...
Dunno if Fishloch is playing in the 1s either....I missed the team selection, but last week he was in the 2s, and I'd imagine that hasn't changed.
Might be brought in especially for a tagging role....you know you love them fellas...haha
Dean Bell was the one. Still more to come i've heard.
One more thing though Harps. This waterboy is the same one that stuck up for your guy that went to the tribunal last time the two teams met.
Nowhere near a dog of a bloke. Good honest person. Reason he wasn't playing was because he had his nose realigned three weeks ago and has had to have it done again because of a reckless incident which i agree should never of occured. Maybe we should all agree to disagree.
And the other comment about Werribee female supporters, i have never heard them swear to the capabilities of f%^%in this and f^%%in that. Maybe some of the big T**ty fat boys on the sidelines but not the females.
yep i have to agreewith those tips, although glen eira can still make the 4 only if they beat banyule by over 145 points...or leos lose by 10 goals and GE win by 15,its a funny game football and as we have seen in this division anything is possible.interesting results from the weekend!
bentleigh just about wrote themselves a ticket to D3 with there 16 goal loss, and a massive game this weekend between johns and willy, winner to stay up loser gone!
looks as if salesians win is enough to guarantee a D2 start next year, thanks to a 11% buffer over the bottom 2 sides!
Banyule have the chance to make the 4 with a win over glen eira, who are playing great football themselves, because i cant see leos beating werribee!
And sth melbourne and aquinas will play 2 weeks in a row with a preview of the final this week!
Massive round
Tips -
werribee by 65 points
salesian by 33 points (good record wachter reserve)
sth melbourne by 15 points (hard to beat at sth)
glen eira (at home) by 4 goals
st johns by 1 point with a kick after the siren!
- bentleigh and williamstown to get relegated
