Does any one know if number 6 for aquinas is playing in the big one. I saw him go off in the first 10 mins off the frist semi against sth and not return. He did not look good and he is a big part off that midfield.:D

Long drive for him youngblood, would show a massive commitment to the club though.

Onto something promised to Yaga earlier in the week.

NQR, as you know from the scenes at the Reg Jones social club on Saturday night the trend doesn't apply the VAFA games. A fantastic game from the boys who blew Aquinas away early and held their nerve for the whole 4 quarters. Well done to the Qua on picking up BOG honours. Thanks to Aquinas for a hard fought game and a rivalry that is set to continue into D1. Thanks to who ever ordered the "Aquinas 2007 Premiers" posters, not only did they add a little bit of ammo to help fire up the boys but were very entertaining on Saturday night when combined with textas and shyteloads of beer!

Well done to the Werribee boys who got home in a close one in the early game, you blokes can definitely be very proud of your season:thumbsu:

correct harps it was great to c the boys get up and the way the boys celebrated long in to the night together the begining of something special....... highlight of the night was micka in the mankini gold:thumbsu:

Hoping someone from Aquinas can fill me in, #21 who was stretchered off in the last five minutes. What was the wash up of that one? ACL?

Felt bad for him, threw himself up for a fantastic mark when the game was long over. Was dragged down, landed awkwardly (did the splits) and was clutching his knee)

Did not look good and I was about 20m away.

[*]The Cameron Ling award for the most unfortunate looking player in D2

Micka Black from SMD would have to be close for at least for a nomination. :D

The photo proves I was right again ...

Jono! Last bet of the year.

$100 @ $2.79 on the Werribee ($1.33)/South ($2.10) quinella please champ.

Season: Harper = $864.95 Jono = $455.50

Jono! What a way to finish the year! Another $179 into the pocket sees me just push past the single "large".

Season: Harper = $1043.95 Jono = $455.50

That's it for season 2007 boys! Off I phuk to the D1 thread!

Well done to both SMD and WAFC on their wins. Good to see 2 district teams doing so well. Who were the best players for the tiges on Sat? How did the likes of Yaga go? Heard Daly did his knee, what quarter? Cheers

Congrats to SMD. Looking forward to meeting again in the higher grades. Thanks Harps for all the banter this year it made it interesting.
Best players for Werribee IMO were Cations, Walsh, Hevern, Carson, McNaly and S. Daly who turned the game around in the third quarter before doing an ACL. Looking forward to tackling Westbourne next year that's for sure. WEST out.

What about C. Alabakis?? Wasn't he in the best players............. for Aquinas!! On a serious note, Saturday's win was by far and away the best win I have played in. The game was played in great spirits and was a worthy grand final. The sound of that final siren was like music to my ears! No better way to end the career!! Good luck to everyone next year.
