See there is quite a good article in today's Herald Sun concerning Glen Eira's Somalian players.
When they last played us, they had more than 3 on the park

I think according to Strobes, Therry are just playing him for a few games and not in the big games. We've seen this as they didn't play him against Glen Eira, JOCs and LaTrobe in the last few weeks. But I think it would be a good idea if they at least played him enough to qualify for finals as an Ace up their sleeve, especially if there are a few injuries with forwards or rucks.
I guess we'll see.
It would be a shame for them to drop a player in the finals to play him. I hope they are true to their word and use him as a novelty and not a weapon.

Anyone get to the LaTrobe game Saturday. Thought it would have been much closer. Report please.
Few injuries noticed to the eira boys, sitting behind the benches watching, not sure if the vafa has much of a concussion rule in effect?
Coburg was close for Banyule/Paradians. Therry & Latrobe will appreciate the short trip as well. Back it inAny word on finals venues as yet?

Last year as i remember there was a problem trying to get grounds due to the extremly wet weather and most of the ground were unplayable know the St johns v Latrobe semi was moved from scanlan reserve to another venue due to the boggy conditions.
so hopefully the Ammos can get the better grounds this year
I here Aquinas ground is available for finals and the ammo are thinking about using it![]()
VAFA logic as easy to follow as the AFL sling tackle precedent set. Kamel Kebab Stadium will host D2 finalsSpot on Doc-In fact based on last year's logic from Ammo HQ, whereby Old Westbourne (from Werribbee way ) played OPs (from Bundoora)in the 1st SEMI at Del La's goound in East Malvern...there's a fair chance that the current top 2
GE and Therry might find themselves scheduled at a mutually convenient location ..say for example like Skilled Stadium in Geelong!!!!
The Guru seems to know too much, did you put "Little Creatures" on the menu last night? Suppose the Red & the Tour your idea too. We are as one many things, but on the result at Ferndale we disagree.I wont reveal my sources Majic you'll never get that out of me. But this reminds me to say hi to Dr Truth. Prehaps the beer was flowing to freely last night and isnt out of the system yet but watch this space
Guru Out!
GE had to dig deep to overcome the turtles in their last ditch bid for the finals. GE were severely depleted with 5 out of their seniors plus the long walk from the change rooms. Hopefully GE will be at full strength over the next couple of weeks. Good to see over 30 staying back for a drink before the trek back to civilization.
