Curious ground allocations for D2. Just a short drive for Banyule, the other 3 teams take packed lunches. Anyone have an opinion.Good analysis Norm. I'll take banyule to beat glen eira. Clearly the best side all year. Patterson the key to glen eira, if he is on and gets some support it could be close but the bears seem to have more class.
Disagree with the Sunday game. I believe old westbourne knocked off parade early in the year by five goals, bouncy struggles against them too. I'll take westbourne by 30

Generally the ammos will look at who finishes on top.
D1 - Werribee only have to travel to West Essendon where Monash have to make the long trip.
Ground Allocation was definitely an issue as at least 3 - 4 councils refused to have finals played on their grounds.
Ophidian Old Boys
Will be interesting to see if the Bentleigh contingent get behind their neighbour for the later game on Saturday. Could be a case abusing Banyule one minute, supporting them the next. What do you think Sniper.Bring it on ! The 2010 Finals Series.
Seniors
First Semi Final
Old Paradians (10/8) vs Old Westbourne (10/8). Both teams should certainly know the otters game plan after meeting in the final home and away match. Having won both encounters, the Warriors will be confident of making it a trifecta as the Raiders look to find a way to break the ice. The Warriors have been able to keep Raiders ace Boundy relatively quiet in the previous matches but this is the big stage and he performs well there and could prove a handful for his opponent. There's some great match ups across all lines and in a close match I am selecting Old Paradians to keep their promotion hopes alive.
Second semi Final
Banyule (16/2) vs Glen Eira (11/7). Banyule have been out and out the form side of the competition all season and has beaten Glen Eira both times this season, the most recent being a serious thrashing about a month ago. The Bears have won their last ten matches, a number by big margins and have the dangerous Browne up forward. The last round loss by the Saints, when everything was effectively on the line is a worry and although they will be looking to cause an upset I just can't see them stopping the Bear's march into Division 1 for 2011.
Reserves.
First semi Final

Second Semi Final
Banyule (16/2) vs Bentleigh (16/2)
I think we'll be only worried about the early game.
You couldn't get near it today old mate. Maybe a bit less Big Footy the morning of and a bit more focus on game day.

Yeah believe so Sniper, hasn't done much good unfortunately
On the contrary I thought, had 4 opponents who only had 2 possessions against me for the day (yes I always count them). I got a few more than that.
this isn't Banyule's self professed "Dominator" is it? lol what a tool he is.
You got the "old" part right though, oldest player in our team at 31.
Congrats to Banyule as a club though on getting promoted, been the best side all year
Watched you all day Sniper. Lived up to your name and sniped all day away from the play.
