Lot of talk about the Bentleigh injuries last week but 2 solid wins, so did anyone actual miss? Saw Magnifico kicked a couple so he obviously played.

it wasnt an excuse. I said, and i quote "Unfortunately for us we let games we should have won slide this year and dropped finals" so you are correct in saying a birth wasnt deserved.

I say Powerhouse wont beat them again, as we beat them twice this year and i dont rate the 2's side very highly. And i dont think you can beat them either after the last game against us. We played horribly and you played ok, but u only beat us by 26points. Thats why i think noone else will beat them.

I wouldnt read anything into the results from the last round Nikko!! You obvioulsy thought you had no chance of making it and we had 1/2 a side in! And the game was well and truly over pretty early on! You guys had a good last 1/4 to get that close.. and bentleigh rested around 5 guys from both sides in the last round, im pretty sure they were not too worried about what happened in that last round..! No disrespect to Powerhouse either, they beat them (and us) by a fair bit!

In saying all of this, we would want to improve a hell of a lot on Saturdays performance to even get a crack at them again!!

That's like saying Power House seniors don't rate Bentleigh because we beat them twice during the year. Let's just say that Power House depth was tested and only started to improve at the end of the year.

To my knowledge there was no-one that missed on the weekend.

I think there were numerous reports from bentleigh posters saying that the injuries were all rumor and there was no fact to the comments being made it's just most out there chose not to listen.

Because you cant read, ill copy and paste what i wrote: "I say Powerhouse wont beat them again, as we beat them twice this year and i dont rate the 2's side very highly."

Funny how as the season went on, the seniors won about 1 game after round 5 and the well of depth magically got deeper makeing the 2's stronger..

sfx vs sms - sms to continue through to the grand final, harder bodies and gatehouse to run a muck again. sms by 1 point

sms vs powerhouse - depends on which sms turns up, have beaten the best and lost to the worst, powerhouse look a fairly old big bodied side! hard to pick but sms by 1 point

double header the following week bentleigh vs sms

Suffolk Lad. No he umpired. And gave us nothing.. You can keep blaming him for losing to us if you like, maybe you just suck.

Bemused, games we shoudl have won but didnt finish:

StMarys - 4points, sms scored a goal in last minute or so.
Elsternwick - Draw (WTF? by the way, we had the worst umpire that day and never saw him around the club again, poor kid..
Hawthorn - 11 points, Leading until halfway through the 4th
Monash - 8 points, as above
Hawthorn - 5points, Hawks scored a goal in last 15 seconds

If we had have played an extra 5 minutes in those games we would have finished 3rd instead of 5th. But we didnt, so heres to next year (for us).

Hawks at Hawthorn with the much "celebrated" free kick award by Boyce to the Hawks rover [goal] with less than a minute to go! Lost by a couple of points + Elsternwick at home [draw] - absolute daylight robbery by the wicks ump - free kicks Wicks 50 UHS 1 - IT WAS OUT ON THE FULL! There a couple.

Anything else - PS You will beat SMS easily. Anymore help needed Wade?

Cant believe the crap that you a spilling out. Your season is over and you are still carrying on how your reverves side is the only one who could beat Bentleigh. You couldn't even make the four. Instead of analysing the "season that got away" concerntrate on next year. Just quietly - you guys weren't very good.

Well i suppose i could not reply to anyones post, but then again, you could do the same. You have had 2 comments all year on here, and they were both rubbish.

My point was, Bentleigh's 2's will win the flag. So it was relevant at the time. On your bike Robert.

The difference between onions and hookers? I dont cry when i cut up hookers.
