Banyule and Ivanhoe definitely staying in VAFA. South Morang from 2nd divison Northern have shown interest in moving to vafa but only if the Northern went to 3 divisions. If the Northern stays as 2 then they will also stay.
Also interesting to see what happens to relegation / promotion if Peninsula are to drop to d2 next year.

This being said then how can it be an "if".. surely it's just a rule?? Would that mean 3 end up relegated from D1 to D2? Or simply the bottom D1 side (Yarra Valley) and Peninsula go down?
Well I know it won't be Cerberus from SFL as they are folding from what I here.

If that's true, teams more than likely wanting to enter VAFA will be from: Sandown, Dandenong, Doveton Eagles and Canterbury...
This is just speculation however.
My thoughts are along the same lines as you Rooster, imagine the derby if St Johns OC played Doveton Eagles.
sh!t, there would be a few fireworks in this game...
this could be handy for us at bentleigh - some nice, short "local" trips to be had...
Not if Bentleigh stays in D2, looks like Bentleigh FC need to hire a bus to take the trip down to Peninsula if thats the case

So you've gone to the effort of posting a reply telling us all to look at the another thread.. I think it would've been pretty easy to write October 26th is when the leagues are finalised.

gone a little quiet on here boys. no news is good news? I suspect the talk has come to a stop as the bentleigh crew were away on footy trip over the weekend and most talk here has been on bentleigh so far. if there were another few clubs booked in for their end of season trips around this time then I guess that would explain it. anyway its interesting to see all 3 coaching positions advertised for bentleigh. which other D3 clubs are in the hunt for new coaches?
lets continue to keep the talk flowing!!
does anyone at arthur st know if any potential coach(es) has answered the advertisement(s) yet??

Well Stuart, some interesting things are filtering in from my sources.
I know a coach has applied for the senior role. and if he gets the gig he will bring BACK some good players and some very good new players to the list. Might even keep a few looking to fly the coop too.

Stu, got told yesterday at a GF function that 3 players are considering leaving (2 to SFL) and an admin official is likely to hand the torch on.

At this stage I wouldn't believe all the talk, and yes there has been a lot of it at our club post-season. You boys from the other clubs will just have to put up with all of this for now as it's a massive time for the club with big decisions to be made and obviously people are going to talk about it.
I know some rumours have spread around this part of town about who's leaving and that sort of thing, but from some trustworthy people I am starting to hear other sides to these stories..
As you said WhiteNikes, for now it's as simple as staying tuned to see what happens when it happens.

the 2 thinking about the sfl doesnt surprise me as i figure theyre still young & good enough to earn some coin. but the official thinking about standing down has thrown me though...
