Could quote this to the cows come home.
Regardless of who wrote it, it needs no further press.

Elsternwick start their preseason next Wednesday i believe? Bentlleigh on Dec 1...when are the others clubs kicking off??

SMS kicking off this Wednesday also, just 1 day a week until xmas, then 3 days after! Looking forward to it!!

Dee Three,

Thinking of putting your hand up as scribe again next season? Now that mean old Hawthorn coach (who apparently wouldn't even let you be his assistant!) is gone you'll have to find a new reason to hate them. And a bit of the old anti-Monash racism goes down a treat!

SnomeD is nothing to do with WB.
Maybe he put that on his profile so we would get smattered the sh1t he wants to throw around.

In terms of rivalries WB would have a few depending on how far back in history you want to go. I was speaking with a former StJohns player who still holds a grudge from a narrow prelim win a few years ago. Hawthorn always. UHS for the local derby.

Personally I played my first game against Bentleigh in the twos a few years back so I might try to spark myself up for that one... and they got Fooey from us.

Bentleigh are the OH that went down from A to B this year ( and they got Voss, Brown, Loewe as ex-afl) thinking their crap doesn't smell and they would be back in A after 1 year - WRONG!.

Mate there is a HUUUUUUGE diffrence between A section and the clubs that play in D3 - Not sure if you have noticed that. Have a good think about what your posting next time.

Muppet!

So why do they call Anthony Steward, "Fooey" other than it rhymes with Stewie.

By the way haven't heard much on here from Stewie40 lately, wonder where he's been?

He's more in your age bracket Sniper so I thought you'd have much more of an idea than any of us young lads.
He couldn't be posting under a new user, I don't see his famous quotation marks flying around anywhere..

Should have a look at your own post moron.

Gee, how enlightening, there is a huge difference between A & D3 - thanks for that insight (why bother)

May be hard to get your peanut brain around this, but 'like for like' the difference between A & B and D2 & D3 is the same.

Don't bother replying as your moronic response will just show you up.

P.M me and we will talk about a possible trade?

Hey steady on young pup, he's a good 10 years older than me!! I'm not even 30 yet, even though I run like I'm 45.

Yeah I miss the "quotation marks" "in every post":D

It's pretty simple.. the point trying to be got across is that a player who may be a little better than average will make much more of a difference in a side in D3 compared to A or B sections.
In those higher sections most players around him in his side as well as opposition are not too far behind skill-wise, you can obviously see how that's very different to these lower sections.
By comparison this player will simply have more of an impact.
Or do you still not understand??

Oh boy, you are thick aren't you.

Ok - I'll type slowly so you can understand.

You must be new to VAFA football or obviously have not been exposed to the higher grades.

In A or B the sides tend to have a number of very good players (as you have stated) that will compliment the ex-AFL Player in terms of fitness, skill and game style.

In D3 (i.e. the 50th-60th sides in Ammo footy) an ex AFL player will be amongst some very average 'cattle' ( that's why they are ranked 50-60 in VAFA) and will have a lesser impact as his skills will be on a far greater level than those around him. i.e. he will of course have great disposal at that level however those that he gives it off too remain at a very low skill level and will falter ( what he is going to win every game off his own boot?).

The whole scenario sounds exciting, however is just a recipe for disaster with the champ getting embarrassed and just giving it away. If the team goes winnless this guy ain't going to stick around for to long.
Any chance that YOU may get your thick-head around that one stupid?.

I can see where your coming from but I would tend to disagree. Back when we were in D3 last time & we had Paul Dimmatina playing for us. His skill, footy nouse & all over better reading of the play, brought others with less skill into the game. Numerous times, after running around 2 or 3 players at half back, he'd spot lace out a teammate further up the ground. Or we'd just give him the ball & he was untouchable.

Don't forget he was also a prima donna who was prone to cracking the sads with his tagger and leaving the game half way through a match with his boots still on! Good player though...for D3.

Thanks for typing slowly, I really noticed the difference.
And I appreciate the name calling, like "stupid".. it makes you sound very credible and like you're in about grade prep.
You seem to have some sort of idea in your head that none of us can kick or mark a footy and have a skill level somewhere between little-none.. actually it sounds like you think none of us ever watch the sport or know what shape the ball is.
If you didn't see, earlier in this thread there was a market posted and we seem to be flag fav's so I highly doubt we are going to go winless.
If you play in this league maybe you can come find me during the year when we come up against your mob and I'll show you how to hit a target.. especially if it's you ;) however if it's in the 2s that you play I'll send the big frame of White Nikes to sort it all out :p or you may be lucky enough to find both of us down there.
It's all good though.. this sort of banter gets the rivalries going a little when there may be little or no history between clubs. It's good for the game!!

Your lack of football intellect is astounding. Do you actually have to think before you write such dribble?
