Practice match required Saturday March 20.
Due to our opposition having ground availability issues our practice match has been cancelled so the Laverton Magpies are looking for a practice match on Saturday March 20th for seniors and reserves. We don't have access to our oval on this date (cricket finals) so it'll have to be at your's if your lucky enough to have one or at a neutral venue.

Speaking of practice matches...has any club got some arranged?
My sources tell me Albert Park are down a bit with numbers this season
The Hapless Hawks are working their group pretty hard.
Have West Brunswick actually appointed a coach yet?
St Johns are waiting for their half forward line to get out of rehab so they can start pre season training!
Is big Angelo Pace (the Human Eclipse) lining up for Ivanhoe this season?
Stock up the canteen for when Ivanhoe come to play at your venue in 2010!
The quiet side is Latrobe. The uni boys have had a very good and quiet build up for 2010. They just MIGHT be the ones to watch.
And what about Yarra Valley and St Francis. What do they have to offer in 2010. Maybe just a long drive in the country? Or will they stand up and be counted?
And how about the House. Has Pikey set the world on fire yet?
I heard that there hasn't been much happeneing at the Postage Stamp with the Wickers. Will they be rolling out their tried and true again...maybe get Wheels out of his wheelchair to come and snipe someone again?

After his parents recently died in a tragic cheese factory incident he has become emotionless, almost willing himself into harms way.. After being discharged from the Special Forces he wandered the streets, aimlessly, getting into random fights, his only friend a bottle of jack.. Even Jack abandoned him after a few good swigs..
He woke up one morning with a heavy jew on him, (he fell asleep near a cynegog..) and it was then he looked down sydney road, past West Brunswick and toward the Zoo, where he was greeted by ghost of vultures past..

The SFX boys in the so called country are progressing at a very stable pace for the 2010 season.
Ang is the big bloke that kicked a few goals and will play this year. Bit hard to judge how the Hoes will line up. A lot of young talent coming through.
My mail on Yarra Valley is that they're very confident and have done an extremely tough pre season which will make them one of the sides to beat. Also I believe Keem is returning who is an absolute superstar!!!

The Bushies have completed a very solid preseason and Keema has returned to his home which is great news for us and bad news for full backs everywhere
We have two practice matches, the first against Templestowe (EFL div 4 club) and the second the following week vs Toora (A team out in the sticks - the coach grew up in Toora and is still tight with his mates out there)
We have had 70 different players train during the preseason with a huge inflow of younger players so this season is shaping up to be a good one,
