Not sure, I was on a bucks day! I believe that Reservoir came out on top. I know RC had a few out but I'm sure Reservoir did too. From what I heard there were some very positive signs though.
Any other praccy matches from the weekend?
Correct, their ones were beaten in a hard fought contest with plenty of positives to take away from the game. Only bolstered by an impressive win by their 2s shows that Richmond's depth may be on the improve.
It sets up a tantalising round 1 fixture vs Canterbury who recorded a 145pt win over arch rivals from their EFL days in Surrey Park over the weekend. Going to be one of the games to watch come April 8...

Not sure where you're getting your facts Saltwater, it was closer to 200 points! But a HUGE showing from the Cobbies. Even has some of the old faithful talking about returning to the EFL now that we are more than competitive.

Wowee, 145 pt win is nothing to sneeze at! Have the Cobras been slithering under the radar!?

Truth be told, they were missing a few guns, but it was pretty impressive I must admit. Great to have some life back in the club after a tough end to the year!

I heard a rumour that Richmond have been able to recruit so well owing to a new club sponsor who has just added 20 new casual "employees" to his books to help him with the winter rush until September?

Concerning if true, their form towards the end of the 2016 season seemed to suggest an Elsternwick-style slide down through the grades... Any other result in 2017 probably has to draw increased scrutiny

Whispers suggest the following Travis Hancock, Mark Thornton, Tom Curtain, Luke Meeking, Patrick Vallance, Shane Semler and Levi Phipps have all been hired at Silvio's Pizza House in Richmond.

Things must be booming at Silvio's for their staff head count to increase by 600%...

Hahaha you idiot. All on $100k per annum at Silvio's.

No sponsorship agreement in place (yet), so they're all hired on the back on their dough flipping abilities.

SPFC played Yarra Glen - no way Canterbury would get a score like that against them who are probably in the finals mix for Div 4 EFL

only a practice match, but aren't Reservoir tipped, rightly or wrongly, to surplant Heidelberg west as the weakest of the NFL?

I hear RC had a couple of huge wins against Parkside at KB yesterday. Must be getting the vocal chords warmed up after a bit of a drought. Go Snakes!

I'll give it a go:

Snakes over Cobras
Warriors to beat Powerhouse easily.
UHS to upset Point Cook at home
La Trobe over the Swans
Swinburne to just get home against Albert Park.
